The company is very goal oriented in how they train staff and how they want to approach teaching people. This is very good, and shows they're willing to contribute to the company. The downside is the administration and management, who over-promise and under-deliver, causing customers to be upset, which pushes things down the line onto the technicians, and onto the parts people. 

For some reason, no one seems to understand that having multiple parts people means parts don't come in faster. It means that there's more volume of orders being processed which means more parts can come in, but not at an accelerated rate. Having a dozen people working parts doesn't suddenly mean that things will arrive 12 times faster. Yet, this is how they think and value how someone works. It's fundamentally flawed and shows there's a lack of understanding on how parts are acquired. Sure, with multiple parts people, someone can focus on finding one hard to obtain part by contacting every single possible supplier. However, when there's a dozen orders to go through and all need parts, ensuring that something is coming, even at a slower rate will have to be doable so that all the other jobs are not frozen. 

The company is also very pushy when it comes to suppliers, to the point that I was worried suppliers would stop doing business with us. Again, management and the shop lead need to know that when a supplier tells us something will be three days away, it doesn't mean that the part will arrive in one or two days and that we need to keep pushing the supplier for it. That's not how it works. All that does is upset suppliers and make workers on both sides frustrated. 

I support the company goal of providing good service at a high speed with good pricing. I also greatly approve of their ideals of training people and sponsoring them. That's fantastic. What's not fantastic is the lack of SOP's, and a general lack of preparedness by administrative management to have things lined up. All the responsibility falls on everyone else. 

I liked the majority of the staff, and no one is inherently unkind. Unfortunately, when a company goes through 3+ people in less than a month and a half, that's a management problem, not an employee problem. 

Working for Mach 6 has been great. All the people there are awesome to get along with and the work atmosphere is positive and fun. The shop is large, well lit and fully equipped with all the tooling needed to get the job done.  The work is different every day and there is always new equipment coming through the shop. I’d recommend Mach 6 to anyone who is looking for meaningful employment as a heavy duty mechanic. 

The work environment is great love the guys there’s not one rude individual and everyone is constantly striving to exceed expectations there’s also a variety of equipment work on and constantly new things to learn. There out of shop work is also a great opportunity to widen your knowledge base

The people are fun, and a great experience team. Management is good and easy to find. The hardest part is maybe doing your research first before asking for help with that said, if you are stuck it is easy to ask for help. Culture is good and welcoming. 

Great spot to work, management is good to deal with. You get to work on lots of different equipment and it's a challenge. They give you time off when you need/want it and everyone hangs out for BBQs or go out for wings after work.

Staff are great to work with. The shop has  plenty of learning opportunities and plenty of staff to help with your learning. It has a great diversity of machinery to work on so your day to day never feels repetitive. All in all a great work environment.

Management is great, they care about your safety and always make sure the job gets done right.  Mach 6 Mechanical gives you the opportunity to learn and advance in a safe environment. Safety is #1 with this company. 

Worked at Mach 6 as an automotive tech and Apprentice heavy duty tech. Learned lots and always something new and interesting to work on. Health and safety are of the highest priority. Great working culture.  

Great place to work. The boss is a good guy and easy to get along with. The crew is awesome and fun. High quality work all around and well paced as well. Doesn't feel rushed but not too slow either.

Great place for learning, with lots of room to grow. I appreciate the opportunity to learn the trade in the environment offered at Mach 6 Mechanical Ltd.
