Nobody takes accountability for their mistakes, and they would rather blame others, rather than find a solution to their problems or shortcomings.

The shop floor is extremely dangerous, cluttered, and usually has a massive puddle of hydraulic oil. The overhead cranes are constantly breaking, and, like everything else, they won't properly repair them. Everything is about the cheapest possible way to do the job. They never seem to have time to do anything properly, and then try to blame somebody when the press isn't functioning properly when it's supposed to.

There are people yelling at each other or putting someone down every day here, and nobody is happy. Terrible work atkosphere

Macrodyne is a wonderful place to work, with friendly colleagues and management who have a clear vision for the company. As it’s a fast-growing company with many expansions happening around, opportunities within the company are immense.  I love working at Macrodyne and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a positive work environment and a better career opportunity. 


Great product and name, but the culture is lost. Leadership lacks communication, leading to low-level disconnect. No training or growth opportunities. Treatment is unequal; shop workers get no sick days and must wait a year for vacation. The health plan is expensive and not recommended. Facilities are poor: no coffee, uncomfortable lunchroom, and a small locker room. Seek employment elsewhere.

I feel like my work genuinely matters, and I’m supported every step of the way. The leadership here trusts and encourages you to grow, and there’s always room to take on new challenges. It’s a place where hard work is noticed, and you feel appreciated for what you bring to the table. The company is growing and there's no shortage of things to do.  

The absolutely most unorganized company I have worked for.  There only concern is to build as many machines as they can sell to sucker companies.  Safety isn't even in a top 5 concern.  The benefits are the worst type available.  Turnover is incredible.  More under a year employess than greater than.

I learned a lot. A lot of people were very helpful and kind. It is a great opportunity for individuals looking to get experience in various fields. Work hard and keep your head down and you’ll be fine.

I enjoyed my time at Comco Canada Inc and although I was just a Co-op Student at the time I was given chance to be a leader at times as well as become a part of the team. I learned many lessons from the crew which I use to this day in my field.

Not often do you come across a place that will let you train in another area if you are keen and show interest.  They let you do that. It helped be build my skill set.

Macrodyne has enabled me to strike the fine line of work-life balance, while developing some cool technologies! Leadership at Macrodyne values family, while also appreciating employee talent.


lots of work, pay wasn't great for me. lots of overtime too. management seems to think everyone lives to work and gets upset when you choose not to work extra time
