A typical day invlolved establishing and reviewing objectives for subordinates.Reviewing prior days results versus objectives and prior years. Contiually review all safety issues to ensure compliance. Address and resolve all production related issues.

While at this employer I learned to refine my time management skils.

As a whole the co-workers were very afficient and productive.

The most challenging aspect of this job was dealing 10% of the subordinates who were responsible for 90% of the issues.

The most rewarding aspect of the job, was working with subordinates to enhance their skills so that individually and as a group we were able to meet and exceed production objectives. In more than one case these subordinates were able to assume greater roles of responsibility. ( ie. Lead hands)

The marketing team at Maglin is very creative and collaborative.  Management allows for real ownership of your portfolio and encourages new ideas.  I need to work for a company that encourages humour and human connection and Maglin does that (It's nice to be treated like a real person at work).  It is a highlight for me to laugh with my coworkers, connect across departments and contribute fully.   They are a company with good values and many original staff members are still there going on 15-20 years.  

Been here a year and a half, an have minimal complaints. Organization can be a lil iffy occasionally, but managment is competent, and its a pretty enjoyable place to be 40 hours a week. Yearly 2 dollar raises are nice, little bonus checks around christmas. If your younger and live at home or are looking for a summer job, you probably couldnt find a better place then here. 

Good place to work, especially for younger staff. Lots of company events and training to make sure you know what you’re doing. Consistent hours, and loyal management.

Hardest part of the job is learning some of the programs as some senior management are always too busy to properly train you

Love working here!  They take great care of employees.  Fantastic team and great benefits.  Lots of extra perks like lunches, surprise bonuses, early dismissal.  Some overtime offered during busy season so that’s a plus also.   Compensation is maybe a little below average but being happy in a job makes up for it.

Employees bring their energy and specialties, and are well rewarded for good work.

Any questions you had it was reasonable easy to get answers. Clean working environment. Steady work. Good Christmas bonus. Paid days off. Sick days covered. Always thanksgiving dinner. 

I experienced too much drama. Everyone was lazy and refused any sort of change that would make things better. The place was very dirty and poor air quality. People would call in sick all the time.

The management is nice, few personnel, family atmosphere. Could be more training, and possibility of advancing. I feel I am not used to my full potential even though my experience is vast and different domains.
