Worked here for 9 months my first 6 or 7 were amazing it felt like I was part of a family. I loved coming to work everyday it was amazing then new people bought the company. They are very secretive. Sneaky. They Judge their employees. They tell you to come to them with issues you may have and if you do you will get blamed for something you didn't do. They flat out lied to me said that a close client of mine told them in an e mail that I did a bad clean and needed to fix it but when I asked the client they read the e mail that they sent and it was simply a request for a one time deep clean not a complaint. The owner would have understood that if they had worked a day in cleaning or even cleaned a day in their lives period but they didn't. So I got sick of the lies and I got sick of feeling like it was a chore to come to work and I quit. Thing is that prior to them buying the place when I first got hired there it was me and one other girl and we held it up so well that eventually management had to hire 4 new girls to help so 2 of us kept it a float through covid and this is how they repay is by lying and chasing us out l. Removing our pros and replacing them with empty promises. If it was the old owner that owned it still I'd say  5 start definitely work here its an amazing job but unfortunately I have to be honest and now im saying Unless your desperate id look elsewhere and fast. 
Its nothing but a bitter disappointment. 

In the interview she says you are part of the family, but in actuality, they talk behind your back, don’t do their jobs so the cleaners have to pick up the slack, I have had office staff be extremely rude and unprofessional. Also, something I noted, for summer holidays this year as well, boss made sure to send out email explaining how almost every member of office staff recieved 2 weeks off to take 2 separate week long summer vacations, writing at the very bottom that no one else will be able to take out a holiday, so verrrry selfish and self-cantered, it’s a TRAP!! DONT WORK HERE PLEASE

I worked for maidpro for about 4 months. I was supposed to graduate from training after 1 month to be paid better, but they just forgot about me. Management and boss want you to be ‘part of the family’, but will talk behind your back and cut your hours if they hear something bad about you. Not paid for travel time, and not paid overtime! One week I ended up working 15 hours of overtime and I wasn’t paid anything for it. When I brought it up to the boss she got very defensive and told me I was tracking my hours wrong. They never give you enough time to finish a home. You have to cut corners in order to finish it without asking for more time, and they rarely give it if you ask (They want to pay you as little as possible). You never know how long your day is going to be, as you don’t find out about the jobs you’re doing till you get to the office that morning. So you can never plan ahead of time for appointments or personal errands. Overall a very poorly run company, I do NOT recommend.

I have been with MaidPro in Burlington for almost 3 months now. Right from the start I was made to feel like part of the family by the owners and the rest of the cleaners. Training and processes were started immediately both hands on and through the MaidPro applications. If I wasn't sure how to handle something, 
they were there to help.  My own input has also been welcomed in many areas of the job. Every day,  all day, our managers are available and willing to assist as well as listen.  Due to COVID-19 business has been a bit slow (I believe) but jobs and hours of work have been spread out evenly between all of the cleaners no matter how long they have been with  the company.  MaidPro works well with balancing daily cleaning and personal life and as customers are returning and new customers signing up, I feel that there will not be any issues getting all the hours that I wanted when I started. 

I have had a variety of jobs in the past, and MaidPro has been the one employer I’ve stuck with the longest. It’s very obvious the owners care a lot about their company and their people - both clients and employees. Our MaidPro is a smaller location but I’ve still always felt like there’s a lot of room for advancement and you are recognized for your hard work versus how long you have been there. The atmosphere at work is very positive and friendly and all the girls are great to work with. There is very rarely any drama and gossip isn’t tolerated, which is one of the things I really liked when I started the job. Hours are very flexible, which makes it a great job for girls with children. Daytime hours and the occasional Saturday with Sundays off is also really great as it’s difficult to find a job where you don’t have to work evenings or weekends all the time. One more thing I love about the job is it’s physical and keeps me active, which is important to me.

Everyday I was dreading going into my jobs sight. It’s a very low pay job. There’s really no advancement salary wise. They promise you benefits etc. but it has to come out of your pocket. Some job sights are horrible you will need a partner or group but they don’t accommodate that. They always make you finish a job sight within the time they give you. Meaning they have never seen how home looks and assume you can finish it all with the condition it’s in… when you request a backup they say no. Doesn’t seem like a supportive job environment. Also, sometimes they won’t report certain things about a home meaning they don’t properly screen the customers. So you don’t know what you’re going into.. I’m thankful I no longer work for this company as there are better places out there to work for. Save yourself the time and mental energy and go with somewhere else. You won’t even make enough to cover your groceries for the week. Good luck! 

I have had a few jobs in my 20 years, I am not one to go from job to job. But for the first time, I can actually say I am happy to go to work each day. From the moment I was hired a year ago I have always felt welcomed. The owners truly see/want the best of all their employees. They are always pushing everyone to be the best they possibly can be. They promote growth. They are always caring and compassionate. They offer competitive wages and bonus. Hard work is always recognized. They go out of their way to promote health. Whether it’s physical or mental. They put a yoga class on twice a month and offer meditation class multiple times a year. Beyond that, all the ladies you work with on a day to day basis are phenomenal! I really couldn’t ask for better people to work with. No matter what happens, we get through it TOGETHER! I honestly could ask for a better place to work!

I worked part-time for MaidPro and have many good memories. I usually had one big or two small jobs a day, mainly cleaning at regular client's houses. Most of my clients were super nice and appreciated me cleaning their houses. I enjoyed the experience of being a residential cleaner and even more being a trainer to new staff. The job was very active and kept me fit. Maidpro holds to high standards of cleanliness, staff is well trained to be organized and to clean thoroughly. It is very satisfying when the job is done and the house is sparkling clean. The owners of the company were fair and encouraging, always open for ideas on how to improve the service. Overall I felt respected and well treated during my time at MaidPro.

I have worked at MaidPro Burlington-Oakville for just over 5 years.  MaidPro is an excellent company and I love working for them.  We had new owners purchase the business in December 2020.  Since they have taken over the branch 7 months ago, I have nothing but respect and admiration for the hard work they have put forth as owners.  They try to make things more efficient and easier for their employees in a lot of ways.  From new cleaning equipment and supplies, more bonuses, increased pay, and a better schedule.  Also, the hard work they have put in to getting to know the existing clients, as well as gaining new clients, has really paid off so their employees can bring home a decent paycheck.  They truly care about their employees.  I really enjoy my job, my co-workers, and recommend working for MaidPro Burlington-Oakville.

I love working for Maidpro. 
I started at Maidpro as a cleaner, and I loved cleaning and the clients. I was at the office for dispatch between 8:30am and 8:45am. Then off I went to clean my clients homes for the day. After the workday was over I went home, bring all my cleaning supplies with me. There was no need to take the supplies back to the office at the end of the day; which was very convenient. Mornings are great, laughing and catching up from the day before. Always good vibes and positive attitudes. A few months later I became a trainer. A couple months after that I started helping in the office part-time and cleaning part-time. Next thing I know I'm in the office full-time as a Recruiting and Retention manager and I absolutely love it. I love my job! Hard work pays off.
