Most days, once you're on your own (after a day or two of shadowing), will be filled with getting to your bay, having a job given to you without a work-order/blueprints and having to find them in the computer system, taking anywhere from a minute or two up to a half hour to find/request parts, working on that job for an hour and then being switched to another that's higher priority and being pressured by management to finish those high-priority parts even if it means cutting into breaks/lunch or having to do OT.

Speaking of management, they're hopelessly lost most of the time. Many questions I had were deferred to the QA department, but most times I was supposed to figure it out on my own as my manager was constantly in meetings or otherwise unavailable. Our previous welding supervisor left late June '21 and the position still hasn't been filled as of July '21. This has led to miscommunication about order priority, internal logistics of pallets/boxes of parts (ie, pallets all over the floor intruding on walkways with parts sitting for weeks) and confusion about details of blueprints/fabrication.

Safety culture is non-existent past "X days without a lost-time incident". Main door to the shop is propped open with a 2x4 as the door is locked 24/7, so if you accidentally kick it on your way out you are unable to get in and have to walk to the other end of the building to get in. This also represents a huge tripping hazard in case of an evacuation due to emergency, especially in poor visibility. Cranes do not have an inspection log, nor proper lifting straps. I was instead given 30' towing straps to use instead when I inquired. Training for cranes was also non-existent, including nothing about safe operation or rigging I was instead given 30' towing straps to use instead when I inquired.

The benefits (if you decide to stay the full 3 months) are horrendous. 50% prescription (60% if filled at Costco), 50% dental, NO eye-care beyond $150 for prescription safety glasses in a 24 month period, $300 per year for massage etc but only $150 for physio in the same period, and $50 boot credit with receipt.

As a summary, you'll be pushed to work harder and pick up OT constantly due to short-sighted management and lack of proper, standardized processes. Constant pivoting to different jobs in short time spans is common. Tool availability is unpredictable and many of them seem to vanish between days. Safety is a complete afterthought: with a lack of proper supplies, training and reporting of concerns, it's a matter of time until a serious incident occurs.

Worked there briefly in production. And I can say what a complete gong show to say the least. Machines breaking down all the time, high turn over rate with employees. I think there may be a handful of people employed there with 10 years or more.  I can say I was glad I was let go. Try working there and you will see exactly what I am talking about. You will be looking for other employment. 
They have zero company culture. A very good company culture is so crucial to being successful.  They also have no HR department.  That speaks for itself. The moral on the shop floor is so low as well. Machines constantly breaking down with work being shipped late all the time. I do not know how they are still in business to be honest. Avoid avoid avoid if you want to keep your sanity. 

This place is an absolute gong show. Things don’t get done properly or in a timely manner. Machines constantly break down. Safety hazards everywhere. Extremely hot conditions to the point where you’re light headed. Every year this place gets worse and worse. General manager lays off workers making it understaffed and stressful and then gets angry that things aren’t getting done in time. Stuff is always going out late here. If you want to work at a company that you’re proud to be at, DON’T WORK HERE.

•	Analyzed all required blueprints, drawings and work order sketchers to fabricate and install products and parts
•	In-depth knowledge of CNC Press Brake set up and creating new programs  to effectively make steel orders
•	Assists in the planning, scheduling and execution of work assignments
•	Work with team and other departments to ensure quality products and follow documented work instructions
•	Examine completed work pieces for defects

Busy day in company but everything to no working in properly this time then atypical day

The production manager is very professional and has changed the culture. The shop floor is now, running like clock work, team efforts, production flow is continuous and great atmosphere. This company is dynamic and offers lots of opportunities for anyone interested in doing lean / Kaizen. I would recommend working at this plant and with the knowledge you can grow within any work centre. 

NO STARS... This is the company you have yo AVOiD...ever since the new General Manager took over, the company lay off employees twice in a period of 8 months....you are just treated as spare tire...a figure...so if you are thinking of applying in this company.. Think twice...be ready to get laid off....the GM just thinks of PROFIT...no job security...

I thought it would be a good work place to work but I was mistaken. There was very minimal preventive maintenance and management wondered why the machines were going down all the time.

Was excpeted to work overtime and not get paid time and a half which was not specified in my contract. If management were to change, maybe it would be a better company to work for. 


Good people, decent work, unstable schedule. They can be very cheap in terms of certifying you, equipping you, not to mind the benefits are garbage.. 50% coverage for dental, nothing for vision. Expect to pay over 190$ for your next cleaning at the dentist.

You want to get paid terrible and have a plant manager who treats you like garbage? Work here! Entire work place is a gong show so unorganized, always mistakes, nothing is done right the first time. Super embarrassing place of work, surprised companies still deal with them.
