What is the best part of working at the company?
Wonderful, friendly workplace.  GREAT co-workers everyone is welcoming and approachable.  Fabulous work environment.  Only downside is it's not all year!


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Race day can be stressful at times but mostly quite manageable. I always felt supported if I needed it.

Fabulous workplace culture, laid back and super friendly.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
9-4 Admin work and Race support during race days

I had to be at the ski hill by 8:15 to set up courses and have dry land training.  Then we had an advanced lesson with the ski school directors.  At 9:30 the scheduled lessons commenced.  The lessons concluded at 11:30, at which time we had a break for lunch.  Afternoon lessons took place from 12:30 until 2:30.  From 2:30 until 3:00 the assistants were required to disassemble the course and to put all equipment away.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Pay is extremely low for head Chef role with multiple outlets and venues plus banquets. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of support from staff and non experience 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This is the only good part about Mansfield.

All the year's I worked here I did not really like it. The Management didn't care about their staff and would cause alot of problems for staff. Issue's that needed attention from Management were ignored.
The new General Manager was actually worse than the old one.

A typical day would start at 10:00 am and sometimes would go until 1-2 am in the morning. The environment was extremely fast paced and busy. Dealt first hand with with intoxicated costumers often and had to know when to cut them off. Problem solving had to be done fast and efficiently. Co- workers for the most part where helpful.

Required to show up early to participate in a meeting with the head coach to discuss the day. You have the responsibility to look after the kids you are coaching and have to meet certain qualifications to coach them.

Worked here for 2 seasons, management is great and employees are very friendly. Event days are fun to work. Only cons is that it is cold some mornings and very early start times. I Recommend working here especially as a first job.  

help the main cook with whatever he needed. i also ran the chilli shack a small little building with a bbq and coffee maker by a chair lift so people didn't have to go inside

Told me I wouldn’t have a job for the summer a week before the season ended when they hired two new employees for the summer didn’t let me know if I was doing anything wrong felt like I was punished for nothing 

employment involved a lot of time spent with children.
