What is the best part of working at the company?
The company is very focused o having an entrepreneurial spirit.  Great team and great team dynamics.  The best part of working at Manulift is the people you work with.

The most challenging part is working in a fast-paced environment.  Everyone has to work together to be successful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The people get along really well and enjoy what they do.  It is a real positive culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
This varies as customer demands are eb and flow.

The people that you work with in the shop, still has all the normal toxic co workers.

Lack of proper management and direction by formen, constantly swapping Jobs.

Poorly run and fake 2 faced people.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Wishing I wasn't there. Spending more time trying to get work done, waiting on parts trying to find management for guidance or direction on  projects, maybe actually work on a unit.

Manulift started as a great place to work as there were only me in the shop and one road mechanic. The two of us built and expanded the company in Ontario (as it was based in Quebec) and as more employees were hired I moved up in the company. Then a new director, who knew nothing about equipment or industry, came in. He decided that I was just an expense and not a revenue generator anymore, with complete disregard for the hard work that we had previously contributed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nice company with young innovative people who love their job and wants to help each other to progress.

Being able to keep pace with a rapidly growing company

Great working environment with flexible work-life balance

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is different.  This is what makes the job interesting

The team is amazing.  Very welcoming.  Good energy.

There is a lot of work that has to be completed using a computer.

The work environment is great, very friendly, lot's of support.  The culture seems very involved with family activities.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lot's of work, good hours, good people.

It's not a bad place to start your career in heavy equipment. The pay is below what the industry pays but I was told that upfront in the interview. Management is okay. Crazy overtime if you want it(they don't force it). Benefits are not the greatest and pension is decent

Work life balance is amazing.

Customer expectations vs technical reality

Not really a bad company to work for if you a in another field but as a foreman no support imagine ppl below. It was an experience that opened my eyes to where i want to go ans what i shod expect from a supportive work place.

Manulift is a great company to start in and even be in as a career. But their company culture is very unusual and very unethical. They make sure that you don't want any kids and that you have no other priorities than the role you play.

Good place to work everyone is friendly and pay is half decent guaranteed overtime and company events are alright other then that I would recommend working here
