I did a couple of temporary assignments with this agency, and it was nothing but a mind game. I would stay as far away from this agency as possible! All they do is lie to you to get you to fill a placement. 

The representative that offers you the assignment gives you the impression your contract might get extended. The other party that you are working with on the assignment does the same on purpose to keep you until the end so you do not apply for position at other companies. They try to keep you stuck. 

During my last placement I was treated very badly by the full time staff, and when I said something, the agency did not care. They basically told me to deal with it or you will not get a reference. Also, they keep interrupting you while trying to speaking with them on the phone if you have any questions. It's like talk to a brick wall. 

If you really take to work a job for the moment I would just go in and out and not put in a full effort. All the temps are just numbers, and both parties do not care. They will just lay you off, and then rehire someone else to do the same thing all over again so they do not have to hire anyone on, or to pay benefits

I had an excellent experience working with Marberg.  They were quick to respond, and had multiple opportunities for me.  It was truly a pleasure to work with them and I am very grateful for their services - they were very professional, and kind, and they followed up with me regularly. First, I was assigned in a government ministry where I learned how to process license applications with strict attention to detail and accuracy. I enjoyed the diverse and friendly environment. The job was easy and I liked the routine.

After we accomplished our assignment with the licensing ministry, I was assigned a week after to another government ministry where we put in order their archived files, put codes on it for more efficient retrieval. The challenging part of the job is the heavy lifting of boxes full of documents, yet my co-workers made it light by helping each other and having fun while doing the job.

I was given an assignment and was now hired permanently.
Thanks to Marberg for the opportunity and support. The management and staff are very professional, helpful/supportive and I have learned a lot during my training/assignment especially other technical functions. It definitely gave me an edge for a career advancement. Marberg management is very understanding when comes to challenges and issues faced at workplace so it was easy to handle challenges because the staff are very understanding and supportive. One of the best staffing agencies I've ever worked for. I went from UN to EMPLOYED very quickly through their excellent connections, and eventually found a permanent career through one of my contracts as a Marberg candidate. Marberg staffing is one of the best temp agencies in Toronto. They are very professional and nice. Their clientele  range from various walks of life including Provincial and Federal Government. I recently got a short term gig with federal government through Marberg, and ended up being hired by the Federal Government only after three months. Two Thumbs Up.
