What is the best part of working at the company?
Day do Day dealing with all project managers making sure we all meeti ng deadlines also keeping tabs on deliveries and make sure the shipping  department is not over worked made sure shop was always busy worked like family

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not being able to get material on time and sometimes pricing and delivery dates ,no stock was the worst problem.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Amazing it's like a big happy family every one is very helpful and respectful we all made sure we all on the same page worked toughter and helped each other achieve great results

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I get to work check all my emails,go through orders placed the day before . Make sure all project manager needs are met .

Typical day involves being given a job number, mad dash for a working forklift to search for and uncover parts to a random pile of parts to fit together. No, all the parts are not in one place. Could be up to 5 or 6 locations to find your parts, IF they're there. Pray for a good work area. Flashed by the welders all day because no screens are available. Hot as balls all day, frozen solid in the winter. Doors don't close half the time. Bosses sit together at a desk (4 people) and smoke/chat all day (inside, at the desks, beside the office).
Culture is dismal.
Equipment is fancy, but not the welders you'll be using. Spray paint the oxy fuel lines so people can identify what they're running inside (wtf??)
hardest part of the job, getting out of bed. Most enjoyable part of the day, you guessed it, leaving.

Looks and made out to be ideal and pleasing in the beginning. But soon you find out that it’s basically a dictatorship-run company due to shop ‘managers’. Two individuals in particular (ops and processing ‘manager’) act as if it’s their company and it’s highly unfortunate they have as much say as they do and get to make decisions based solely on personal opinions of you. Ex, good luck getting a decent raise if they don’t like you because  If you’re not personally liked by them right from the start, you’ll be fighting an uphill battle for as along as you choose to stay there. Avoid these two at all cost if you can during your time there. Proceed with caution…..

What is the best part of working at the company?
good people that work there honestly miss working there just because of my coworkers there 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
not a hole lot was stressful other then maybe waking up for the 12 hour shift since you start at 5 am but once you get used to it and you get used to the workplace its not bad

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
muti-cultured and fun loads of partys boss throws bbqs and again great workers overall

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
wake up coffee drive to work work all day go home and sleep foe my next 12 hour shift

Most of my job was email communication, locating material and coordinating with project managers regarding their projects and material. Unfortunately, my time at Marcon MetalFab was a short one, but I'd give it a shot if I were you. Every company has their bad apples. But, the good apples definitely outweigh the bad. The bad apples will show themselves early and you'll know who to steer clear of and who will help you in a jam. The hardest part about my time at Marcon was not being trained thoroughly enough to make me successful in the role I was hired for. 

I was with the company for 2/3 years and I had a injury, and then covid came along and really slowed things down for the company and employees.  Other then that it has a good reputation,  and they treat there employees well  
If you are unsure about a certain task there's supervisors,  quality control personnel.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not enough work for press brake, lots of welding. Bad management

No work for you to come into every day 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very slow, no one has a real drive. Very dirty 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Walking around looking or asking for work

Typical day at work, if you have work. Learned nothing. Stay away from this company if you can. One of the poorly managed companies in around. hardest part is no help or support. Don't expect raise, neither appreciation.

Marcon was a great place to learn and start off in the trade, they helped me learn and build my knowledge/skills. they made me their apprentice and helped me get into school to finish my Red Seal. Lots of great Christmas party's to!!
