Maricann is a great place to work. My coworkers are both kind and helpful. All staff are invested in the success of others and they help any new people succeed. The master grower is incredible and the facility is compliant with strict Health Canada Regulations (as expected since we supply both medically and recreationally - including outside of Canada) . Maricann is very busy and there's plenty of opportunities for optional overtime often. There's so many invested people here who are passionate about cannabis and find gratification from working here and helping others (co-workers, clients, and customers alike). 

Maricann is an incredibly fun, family oriented place to work, and I love my job. It's wonderful to work amongst such like-minded people who care so much about their jobs, our products, and one another.

Work at Maricann is always exciting. I love the dynamic way the company is developing. Discussions between the team are always on eye-level. Self-reliant working is the mantra at Maricann, which gives challenges but also chances. An open working environment is the basis for Marican's approach to grow the company.

This company is disorganized with a lack of understanding for the Canadian retail space. The transparency they tout is a facade, a work environment that is uninclusive and high pressure with no direction, CEO is quite rude to staff, and the product is not good. The executive team set their staff  up for failure by providing little to no guidance or training and letting people go suddenly without warning, or reason.

The people were awesome.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The walk from the main area to the other greenhouses. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly, and understanding. Great people. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working in the greenhouse. Either doing plant maintenance or harvest.

If your into drama this is your place. Certain employees claim “ownership” to the companies  greenhouses and when working inside, have to follow they’re and ONLY they’re protocols regardless what you learned the previous day in another greenhouse.

Don’t let the other reviews scare you. You can obviously see that the people Writing them weren’t happy or well liked by coworkers. All of the toxic people who poisoned our environment are gone now and it is an absolute pleasure to come to work. Maricann is an awesome place to work with amazing people and management. New and exciting things are happening and I am happy to be part of it! Come work with us!!!!

This is a good place to work and the pay was good for me anyways ( $17 hr ) great hours 7am to 330 pm in the summer time but winter hours are different .  The management was good but i didn't deal with them too much . If you wanna work here than go direct instead of a placement agency ...

Very thorough Place to work if you are learning, Management was horrible,  I watched people get fired for absolutely no reason.  the excuse:, You are no longer a fit.  Pretty lame for jobs that were well done.

Typical day is stressful. Very little to no training. Suggestions are ignored and not encouraged. Many staff aren't onsite very often. Pay isn't worth the mental health issues. Favoritism is real here. If you suffer from anxiety run from here. 
Unprofessional. 

They let people go for no just cause.... all they say is you are no longer a fit  i was there for almost one year  and was totally blind sided by the way they terminated my employment
