This was one of the worst experiences of my life. If you are not willing to work 60-80 hours a week there is no advancement. It is extremely nepotistic, it feels like a social club where certain people do work and others are just friends and family. I was expecting a professional work environment but honestly it felt like working in a shop floor where bullying is encouraged, swearing is constant and there are literal screaming matches to the point of grown men crying. 

There is also a clear gender bias in many departments, their model looks like something out of the 1950s. Most of the senior management has been brought up from need not talent. If you are educated, diligent and motivated it is seen as more of a threat than a benefit. 

I can say that most of the positive reviews come from an human resource push to up the rating on indeed. 

The building acts as a facade to entertain clients. The pay is not representative of the amount of money that is spent making the company look good. 

I would not recommend working here

The office environment was both well-decorated and neatly organized, creating a pleasant and productive space to work in. One of the standout features of the company was its open and transparent promotion portal, which remained accessible year-round. This allowed employees to clearly see growth opportunities and take charge of their career paths. It was not uncommon for individuals to receive multiple promotions within a five-year span, provided they consistently performed well and demonstrated a strong work ethic. However, with growth often came change—some promotions were tied to rotational assignments or shifts in roles, which required adaptability and a willingness to embrace new challenges. It’s important to be prepared for this dynamic aspect of the job. Those who approached it with a flexible mindset often found the experience enriching, gaining exposure to different teams and functions. Overall, the environment supported both professional development and upward mobility.

So many things that I was told by management were not accurate. I was told in my interview that there are 5 personal days; there are only 3. I was told that overtime would be minimal; I've never worked so much overtime in my entire career. I expressed my concerns with my position and was told that I could move into another role within the company. I was surprised they were actually willing to work with me on that, but I should have gotten it in writing. Later, they said they had 'reassessed and there was no longer a role for me there', after I had already turned down 2 other job offers. 

In Finance, 2 weeks of each month includes significant overtime. Turnover is ridiculously high, and there is no communication from management/HR when people leave or start. They try to impress you with the free bin of produce each week, the free snacks, and the onsite gym. But it's all a facade to cover up a toxic work culture.

We signed up for work here for a few months before moving to London. No one else wanted to hire for two months so as a last resort decided to work here.  Holly Hannah was that a bad idea. 

shifts are 6am to 3pm and the ONLY good thing about this place is that it's 5 degrees in the packaging area. great for summer. our first shift was spent trying to find the supervisor as instructed they are in the cafeteria before you start. count find them. The other staff either count understand when saying who is the supervisor or just didn't want to help you.

We found the supervisor on the factory floor and after some time wasting got put to work.  no set location to work. just stand at a post and peppers a come down the line to pack into bags.

Supervisors give instructions by yelling only once  if you don't hear it you have to see what others do asking leads to shaming by supervisors.

would not work here ever again.  avoid this place.  really tense angry supervisor environment

This is the worst place I have ever worked. The midnight shift is full of harassment the overall work environment is extremely toxic and negative. You can be the hardest working person there but if you don’t have any friends that are higher up they will fire you for any reason. I was harassed for months by one of the line workers she would kick the produce garbage bins in front of me to try and trip me and throw pepper stems at my back I was very uncomfortable but when I reached out to management and HR they completely dismissed me and fired me. If you have any other job offers I highly suggest you take those instead, barely anyone outlasts the toxicity in that place. Absolutely awful. 

The company has exploded in growth over the last few years and the warehouse has done little to keep up. Space is limited and valuable, forklift drivers are trained to use the machine but not how to competently perform their duties. You will likely work six days a week and on a one week swing shift. pay is middle of the road however, they offer a decent benefits program after 90 days that makes up for the lower pay. This job is okay, the work is pretty easy but mind numbingly repetitive. An okay filler job but do not aspire to be a career forklift driver.

My experience working as a Lead Commodity Inventory Controller at Mastronardi Produce has been very positive. The role provided strong exposure to inventory management, supply chain operations, and perishable commodity handling. I appreciated the structured processes, access to modern systems, and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The company’s fast-paced environment helped me develop strong problem-solving, prioritization, and leadership skills. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience and a great stepping stone for growth in supply chain and operations.

I started out my part time job in Canada with Sunset Produce.
My work included occasionally grading and inspecting produce before packaging but primarily I worked in loading and stacking packaged produce ready for dispatch.
Frankly, it was hard work, but working with friends in the same place took out a lot of the work pressure. When I got a little tired from continuous stacking, a friend co-worker took over my responsibility and I took over his, which was a little less physically demanding.
Despite the work being hard, it was enjoyable since I personally experienced the fruits of teamwork.

Worked straight afternoons for over 8 months. The harder i worked the more they demanded of me. Was called lazy by one line lead that did not like me, and the rumour spread, But it seemed awfully strange  that when they needed to get the peppers out faster the rest of the line leaders would come and get me telling me i was fast packing at the front of the line????? If you work straight afternoons you will have no life. They demand you work 6 days a week with no excuses. Leaving early (after 8 regular hours) will be frowned upon and it will not be forgotten of forgiven.

This place of work is terrible they pay like trash they dont care about there workers. They pick favourites all the time they treat all employees like trash. The management is probably one of the worst ive ever seen and hr is just as bad absolutely terrible i would not recommend this place to anyone. They are the biggest richest company around they pay the worst and treat there employees the worst out of all the companies around.
