The staff are amazing, cooperative, the managers are decent human beings and willing to guide and explain every detail about the job.

My job was to keep invoices and follow up the tracking of shipments. I had to use a computerized system to locate the shipments according to the number of boxes and the way they are placed on the pallets. 

One of my tasks is to insert the data of the warehouse on AS 400 system. I had to print the invoices and keep them in a log.

Another task was to register each item entering to the warehouse on excel sheet. I was also helping the HR person in filing and keeping the data of the employees.

The work environment is great and full of encouragement.

Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
        Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets
        Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
         Verify computations against physical count of stock.
            Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.

Working with a nice team , awesome work place with no extra work pressure .

For me nothing it was a great company I have ever worked.

Each accepting, and nice team working helping each other and being nice with each other , I had a really nice supervisor as well .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day was an awesome day working with Mattel .

Mattel is just one of a string of companies who seem to have jumped on the politically correct band wagon trying to appear as though they do not discriminate, however a law was passed saying that Affirmative action was no longer legal. I found on a job listing that it says Mattel is an affirmative action company. It can't be any more clear, you can't hire anyone based on their gender or color. It's illegal. Just like you can't not hire someone based on these characteristics. The person being considered should only be considered based on their skill and ability to do the job.

Top notch management! Amazing opportunity!

Straight forward communicative management means very little stress!

Very positive and cohesive environment with amazing management and co-workers!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a sales and merch rep it’s very flexible with complete autonomy in working the territory as you see fit-

The company is stuck in time and backwards in thinking. High aspirations and fluffed up talk but hardly any execution and followthrough to try and bring the company to the 21st century. Work-life balance is mediocre, like any big company, employees are expected to go above and beyond, but personal efforts and entrepreneurial initiative is never recognized and credit is hardly ever given. The people is what makes this company great. Team spirit is nice.

This company is tolerating lazy people and being lazy is the canadian way of life. Don't work for this company because you'll just be a number whether you're in the office or just a plain laborer. They don't care and management don't have the foresight and the fortitude to know what's happening as long as they get their paycheck only. The lead hand's job is a big joke, too as his job description includes youtubing and laughing all day and management is happy about it.

No knowledge of printing or willingness to learn

Very toxic, unmotivated underpaid workers, pushy management

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
"Putting out fires" and dealing with immediate problems all day long

-Reviewed sales productivity on a weekly basis.
-Main job was to create planograms for the account and report on productivity.
-Line reviews of current program and placement of new merchandise.
-Worked directly with the Category manager to determine store layouts and product placement.
