What is the best part of working at the company?
Company training is amazing, they are thoughtful and caring towards their staff and focus on each individual and team creating success through a proven sales process that keys in on custom solutions for each individual you have the pleasure to help within the store. The more the team succeeds the more the individual is rewarded. Awesome Owners/Management that are always involved and promoting continued success with integrity and sound practices that lead to Company and Individual growth. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Commission Sales, you need to provide Show Time and be ready for each customer to give your best, some days may be slow, take every opportunity to succeed. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Team Oriented, enjoyable with varied activities and responsibilities. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Upon arrival, check inventory, check orders, check cleanliness, load sold items for Delivery, unload new inventory, tag and recieve inventory, assist customers immediately when it's your turn "up", perform the "Beducation" process,  provide honest open answers with complete transparency, write up orders, answer all questions. Improve product knowledge, constantly learn and improve your Sales Skills. Clean up store constantly to maintain great first impressions. Interact and chat with team members, have common vision to help eachother achieve goals & objectives of the company and your own.

Good sales job, if you don't mind the super controlling, negative reinforcement, microscopic management style.

The best thing about working there is the same as any sales job, it's the rush and excitement that comes with closing a huge deal with all the accessories added on, and knowing your sales training has paid off. If you're a commissioned salesperson, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

They have an excellent business plan that could put other mattress companies out of business, but lacks in execution. There is way too much emphasis on the importance of the "beducation". There's even an ad that makes me cringe every time I hear it, that invites customers in for nothing but a "beducation, even if you don't buy from us". The company will actually fire you if you get shopped and are caught not giving a proper beducation, even if your sales are excellent.
Fortunately for them, they don't have a hard time finding other work, because of their otherwise stellar track record.

The mission statement is meaningless, there's no way an employee could ask themselves if they are living up to the mission statement at any given time and have a definitive answer.

The Vice President is also essentially the regional manager, who got the job because she is the CEO's sister. So, no room for advancement (beyond store manager) unless you want to buy a store or are family.

Selling and helping our customers with all their needs. Loading and unloading Mattress, Keeping the Store clean & tidy Order and receiving Product We are doing product training all the time. We do Zoom meetings on Saturdays. Head Office come at least once a Month and they help us with anything that we need help with.  
My Store Manager is great lots of help. She helped out with my first sale, helped out on the computer, showed me how it,s all are stuff in that I need to do my daily tasks. We all get along and work well with each other. We Are all team players. The hardest part of my job is unloading trucks. And rude Customers but that is part of the job. The most enjoyable part is meeting new Customers and selling lots of Mattress and Adjustables  Bases pillows ,mattress protectors and Sheets Sets. I really like coming to work early on each of my shifts.

Salary not close to declaration.  Watch you boss as they have rules that don’t apply to them and will cost you money.  Nice people personality wise.  Decent hours where I was.  Some benefits which is nice.  Biggest problem was an unbalanced manager as far as pitching in and being honest.  This is why turnover is very high unless you are related someone.  Other locations may have better managers but culture would likely be the same.

I've been able to build my career with the tools supplied to me at Mattress Mattress. 
Because of the mission at the heart of this company, I've been able to enjoy many years honing my sales and business skills. 
I'm truly thankful for the opportunity of being apart of a wonderful company. 

Your typical day at work is a fast paced day with a lot going on. There is always something to do or learn between taking customers. Earning potential is high, but does take time become fluent in selling mattresses. A great career oriented company with room for advancement. Some of things I enjoy are the travel rewards they offer as well as the staff golf tournament.

This really is a great place to work. Management listens to suggestions and most people genuinely work as a team. The pay is also well above comparable jobs. The only downside is that you will work every weekend and no vacations in the summer.

It was a great experience to learn sales techniques. Co- workers were always good and a typical day at work for the most part was stress free as long as deadlines were met.

Excellent place to work. Job was easy to learn and very rewarding. Management was always easy to reach and very helpful. They truly wanted you to succeed and enjoy your job. All coworkers were also amazing.

I've worked in commission sales for 12 years and I've never felt more listened to by any company I've worked for. Hours aren't too bad and you definitely get paid more then most for equal work.
