A typical day at work.
- The day consists mainly of occupying a cash register and keeping a low amount of clients waiting. When you are located at the "Scan ourself cashes" where I am now most of the time. Your job consists of assisting the clients in need and supervising all eight cashes.

What I have learned.
- This job has shown me how to improve my social skills, interact with customers and manage multiple things at once.

My co-workers.
- The people that I worked with were great and supportive, they would always help you out when you needed help. Your co-workers were your family. 

The hardest part of my job.
- Dealing with the overstock which is all the items people leave at the cash that we have to go and bring back into the store. The flow of items coming in is greater then flow of items going back in the shelves.

The most enjoyable part of my job.
- Meeting new people and interacting with the clients. This is the greatest part since I get to meet different people every day and I always hear a good story.

management sucks. I worked there for almost 2 years and always constantly had my hours cut for no reason. Once I had gained seniority in my department they hired a bunch of people who transferred departments so I lost my seniority and was left with 4 hours a week. Rude management, very judgmental and provide little to no positive feedback on your worth ethic, only unless you do one wrong thing they will talk to you. For example, my French is not very strong and I felt constantly judged by the management due to that. They would purposely speak complicated French to me, knowing that I'm not good at understanding. The managers are perfectly bilingual which is why this bothered me a lot. Lunch is not paid and ultimately makes your day longer, meaning if you have a 8 hour shift you're gonna be there for 9 hours which really sucked. The hours were so long and painful since the job is so boring. I do not recommend.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part is keeping everything organized and making sure customers can easily find what they need.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part can be during busy times when there are many items to stock quickly, but I stay focused and organized to finish my work efficiently.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented. Everyone works together to keep the store organized and make sure customers have a good experience

A typical day includes checking inventory, restocking shelves, organizing products, and making sure everything is clean and ready for customers

Every employee will have a varied view upon this company. 

As a whole, it isn't terrible. that is to say; if you're a student or someone looking for a part time job. if you are looking for a full time position, you will have a very hard time making it in.  

the pay isn't great for all the manual labor they require to do and to those who have no experience beware because you will only fulfill 40% of what the managers require you to do, due to the constant interruption of workflow. 

The flyers are at time very demanding and will leave you exhausted at the end of the day. 

good for students, not so much for people who need to cover living expenses since the schedules vary and only given weekly without any sense of order.

Working here is an absolute blast, and the fun factor is off the charts. From the moment you step through the door, you can feel the positive energy and enthusiasm that permeate the workplace.

Every day started with a meeting where the managers would recognize our hard work, cheer us on for a productive and fun days work.
Our store Manager once said, If you go home at the end of the day and you are not tired, it means you did not give it your all. I allways had strong work ethic, but here I learned to appreciate that feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.
I learned that to lead a team, you must be positive and lead by example.
I worked as a team as well as leading with co-workers.
The hardest part of my job was working in the freezer, but the time passed quickly and it was rewarding to know we did a great job.
The most enjoyable were the customers.

A typical day is exciting your impatient to meet new people and improve your performance each day. This job taught me that patience and good performance are important to satisfy customers. The management wasn't actually bad. As this was a volunteer job, the management complimented the performance of every person working. Also, the co-workers are very friendly and competitive, which makes the job more exciting. The hardest part of the job is to place the groceries in the bags so that it wouldn't be too heavy for them to carry. The easiest and enjoyable part of the job is lunch time where everyone gets together and discuss about their performance whilst eating together around a table.

I’m a  part-time night stocker, been there for 8 months. So far what I have seen is that management is not existent. No communication at all. No schedule flexibility due to lack of staff and lazy full timers. Even if you are title part-time, expect getting crazy amount of hours ex:40h back to back. Your sleeping pattern gets messed up and no social life outside of work because your tired constantly and sleep the whole days even during your days off.  Would not recommend unless If your really desperate for a job.

One of the worst places anyone could ever ask for. I had to make sure the entire store was clean, and well maintained all alone. I was always in the back with stacking immense amounts of beer without any gloves on, even with broken glass involved. Management was extremely rude to me and would never understand how it's ridiculous to have an entire store be clean and well maintained with just one person on the job, when other departments have three people doing stacking in the same area of the store. When I left, they saw how ridiculous it was and hired more people to help out in my department.

I worked mostly 4-5 hour shifts, with one 15 minute break. As a grocery backstore worker, I was responsible for restocking shelves in the grocery, dairy and frozen food sections. I was often in the back stocking eggs onto the fridge, and was required to wear work gloves and a thermal shirt to stay warm.
My co-workers were supportive, but I felt a lot of pressure to push my self. Just when I thought I was excelling in my position, my manager informed me that he was cutting my service because I was not advancing quickly enough.
