Worked for MMG for a year and in that time I’ve yet to see such turnovers of employees as I have here. 
The newest owner of the company has taken the “family feel” out of the company and is driving it straight into the ground. 
Company assets have dropped significantly and the office morale is in distress to say the least. 
Maintenance department is lead by an arrogant a hole that demeans and demoralizes everyone he speaks to. 

Properties are mismanaged, mistreated and some of them infested. 

Very unhappy with this company.

When I quit. No thing positive about this company

Pay, broken promises. and dealing with management 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Negative and stressful. Poor company moral and broken promises time after time

Dealing with the clients. Best part of the day

It was great up until July of 2016.  Ownership changed and so did the whole dynamic and attitudes of those that worked there.  

I will always have fond memories of the time I was there as I was a very dedicated and loyal employee who was treated fairly for eight of the ten years I was there.

The hardest part of the job was trying to learn who did what after the new owner took over. 

The most enjoyable was when I was able to work from home.

MMG is disrupting the property management industry in Alberta. 
If you have a passion to be the best, if you are customer-centric and continuously want to learn and work on career development, MMG is the place!

Pay was poor and you were expected to live on site and pay full market rent with no compensation for it or utilities .  Often left on your own to learn the "ropes" with little support from office staff. Felt segregated little to no interaction occurred or was encouraged with other site mangers

Work was challenging as it included new assignments. eg planting trees and maintaining them.  Sodding and maintainence of the complexes grass, trees and flowers.  Cleaning the grounds to maintain a safe environment for the tenants.

The Owner Don’t Care about the employees no matter what you are nothing is better. Just interested to put money in his pocket. More of 20 people has resigned or been fired in less than 6 months.

I enjoyed the challenges that working outside can bring you.  Moreover I learned how to sod, plant trees and maintain grounds for the past 5 years.

Company can not be trusted to be honest with you.  When you reach a curtain age company will find a way to get rid of you.  management found to be very dishonest when discussing your employment. and will find ways to get rid of you.

Mayfield is consistently striving to be innovative in it's approach to Condo and Residential Management. New systems integrated into the company for faster and more reliable day to day information.
