Like many companies, Mazda's priority is profit, not quality of work nor honesty, not the quality of life their employees seem to have. For example, the management here would prefer to hide damage to a customer's vehicle, rather than repair it properly, or at least to mention to incident to the vehicle owner. The culture here is summed up easily, at Mazda, you are an employee and that is it. Your needs as both an employee and a customer are irrelevant in their pursuit of making money. Here, it was not important if you had responsibilities outside of work, overtime was a requirement, one they refused to pay legally, instead they banked hours without proper overtime pay. The shop was also set up unsafely, they failed to utilize the shop space, and crammed several vehicle lifts into a space where safety is no longer practicable. Not to mention the shady tactics in-place for trade-in deals that the used car salesmen engaged in. They would reintroduce the same value of the vehicle being traded in, to the invoice, in order to essentially take the (traded in) car and trick customers into thinking they were getting money off of the final cost.

i worked at la for over a year, it was good while it lasted. it was a lube pit so it was mostly oil changes and tire rotations. the odd mount and balance would come our way but not usually. i would greet customers since we had a drive in service bay. We would wash the mats, vacuum the floors, test alignment, brakes, tread, battery. we had 2 of those hunter test programs with the floor built in test pads. they worked well enough. i had no complaints with really anything there, i just got somewhat bored of the exact same thing each an everyday for a year. i did want a change. the management was good, my coworkers were young adults like me so we all got along.

Extensive travel in a large territory with daily interaction with unique personalities.  The management structure is horizontal with time and experience you can work independently.  The company has a young staff which can frustrate due to limited job experience yet their enthusiasm can more than make up for experience.  Working out of the head office environment is a double edged sword as you have the benefits of freedom yet at time you feel isolated.

Unfortunately not a good experience.  Even though have been through school and obtained respectable second year apprentice status, all I was used for was washing cars and doing oil changes.  Anytime there was a chance to watch and learn, I was pulled away and asked to do things, such as clean the shop or wash a car.  These people have no idea what an apprenticeship is and should only be able to hire those not signed into the program.

Company provided a good working environment that focused on core values of customer satisfaction, and employee empowerment. Provided employees the opportuntiy to expand their horizons, and encouraged "thinking outside the box."

Fun, dynamic, and dedicated the Mazda Team was a pleasure to work with.

This position was very fast paced, time lined and demanding, all of which was invigorating to me.  Not only did I manage and coordinate all the materials, but I was also the Warranty Administrator and Service Writer.  My job entailed ordering materials, shipping and receiving, meeting quotas, reconciling warranty, scheduling appointments.

Worked a temp contact job handling tires. Found it easy and got along well with everyone at the dealership.

Excellent management, minus the fact that I was paid less then what was advertised because they couldn't decide between me and another candidate even though the other person quit on day one. 

Mazda Canada has a gym accessible 24 hrs. Also, a certified yoga trainer has been hired for a weekly session.
This company offers a friendly environment where mutual respect is displayed at all levels.

Mazda was a great location to work at, one or two bad apples in the company but they are easily avoidable, everyone else working there was great and easy to get along with. Management at the time was hit and miss but more on the hit side 

I’d stay clear of this place for sure  don’t work in the service department unless you hate yourself and don’t care about your mental health, you’ll leave that place absolutely miserable. Favouritism at its best here as well. STAY AWAY
