As in any ag related job, stress at certain times of year is high, but lack of techs makes the staff very hard to manage due to them having no fear of consequences due to staffing issues. Pay was decent but not great for the stress that it generates. Director of parts and service for my area was a really good person to work with, although I was never informed when employees would complain until it was a serious problem. This may be why there is such a high turnover in the Parts, and Service Manager positions within the company as this practice is detrimental to the chain of command. Best part of the job by far was helping out customers in need, and getting a thank you for going above and beyond. Regional Sales Manager has a rather entitled attitude and thinks that their position entitled them to influence all departments, which effected the bottom line on more than one occasion in parts and service departments. Overall I enjoyed the job, but the drama and politics were absolutely out of hand, the company self admittedly is having difficulty transitioning from a family owned business to a corporation, but with inconsistent direction, and the CEO not being completely informed on some of the issues in the workplace, unfortunately the turnover will continue.

You do whatever they want and if you don’t do it there exact way you get yelled at. something that was said to me was “i’m the manager i get paid to think not you, you get paid to do what i tell you to do”. that’s how they treat there employees. everyday is something different but u never get to start a project and finish it, you run around all week and maybe finish a project every month and do 7 other projects at the same time with 3 guys on the crew. work monday to thursday which is nice but barely any overtime. they didn’t try to make connections with me and favoured the other worker over me every day. highly don’t recommend. 

Working for Mazergroup has been the most beneficial experience to the growth of my career and as an individual. This company treats their employees so well with a great work-life balance, and with great options for benefits and RRSP's for yourself and family. I have advanced my position 3 times in the 5.5 years I have been here - they are always looking to help their employees grow in line with their interests and provide a safe workplace for everyone. I have recommended many of my family members and friends to apply for positions here, based on my experiences.

Unprofessional behaviour, alcohol consumed during work hours, do not know how to train apprentices

Terrible all problems that occurred was given a blind eye, did not have proper equipment and tools

A living nightmare dreaded everyday being there

Job was great at the start, but several departments would enter incorrect sales information and it would make balancing the sales report difficult. Management was just ok.Some parts guys were nice others were not so nice. Told lies to management about me which were so untrue. Because I was the new person  I was not believed. Was happy when I left there. Too faced people there.

Tremendous amount of support from upper management.  The pay is great, benefits are great.  Schedule is very comfortable, pretty much Monday to Friday with expected long hours during busy seasons.  The training for the Technicians is great, they have strong knowledge of the equipment.  Dealerships work great with one another, assisting with knowledge, parts, tools and even lending technicians.  

The staff here at Mazergroup are a very diverse group of people. They are very knowledgeable which helped me a lot in transitioning into my role. Mazergroup is a family-oriented business, and this can be seen throughout the business in the way persons relate to each other; they are very approachable and accessible inclusive of management. They promote personal growth here and highlight the achievement of staff, no matter how small it is.

The in house team was pretty top notch. Corporate is the downfall and call the shots. If you’re not a favourite you will be treated and ignored as “ low grade”.  They lack on buying shop tooling, lifting and hoisting equipment to safely do your job. Efficiency based so best of luck if you get 4,5 bad jobs a month. The in house people were awesome to work with. 

Mazergroup has given me every opportunity to grow and advance within the company. They believe in the benefits of professional development and ensure that you get the chance to strengthen your skills while gaining the technical knowledge so you can be proficient at your job and advance within the company.

At my position as a Business Manager my main focus is on Financing & completing  Deals for the customer. The relationships with the sales team, Parts & Service, Management and ultimately the customer is very rewording. I am grateful to be working for this company as it also gives me an immense satisfaction of a job well done and security. The benefits are top notch.
