Worst place to work EVER. I was contracted to 18 hours a week. After i had been there for 4 weeks the manager left and we didnt have another manager for almost 7 months, Inbetween we had a stand in manager twice a weeks for about 4 hours. As i am a fast learner and have excellent common sence I learnt quicker than the other staff who had been there for more than 3 months longer than myself, They purposley didnt learn or want to do any work at all. To be honest it was ALL left to me, I even had to go in on my odd day off that i begged for to do banking and lottery as others refused to learn how to do them. Most weeks you are FORSED to 60- 70 hour weeks and refused breaks of any kind as most of the time you run the shop AND post office single handed. Management is a LAUGH totally useless. If I had any problems or complaints I was told by the new manager " all i hear is moan moan moan  and i'm not listening" The most enjoyable part of the job i would say is  the interview and the 1st day. The rest of the time  you end up so tired stressed and depressed. WORST COMPANY EVER

A typical day at work entailed caring for the flock as well as egg collection, cleaning and storage of fertilized turkey eggs. I learned time management and general maintenance of equipment. Management was flexible and helpful and the workplace environment was pleasant and welcoming. The hardest part of the job was the early mornings and the most enjoyable was the people who also worked there.

The staff I work with here make it enjoyable to come to work. We all get on and are all able to have fun and a laugh together. The regulars make it also enjoyable and it’s good to see them all on a daily basis and have a chat with them when you see them. 

Hard work but easygoing boss as long as the work gets done. I helped install septic tanks, learned about tool literacy and how to run heavy equipment.
