What is the best part of working at the company?
Central location which is  almost close to everything, accessible by public transportation and  working hours stated in the job ads are good  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
organization culture, centralization, favoritism, budget cuts, if the position is not unionized, you have no rights, no proper training or induction, no handover, students have better experience compared to staff members, as a staff member you cannot pursue your studies because all credit courses take place during working hours

I loved working at McGill for the adventure of it all.  I ahd to organize my own work and make sure I implemented all the necessary steps to achieving the final product.  I was involved all aspects of the work and made sure to always stay ahead!

As a research assistant at McGill, your possibilities for advancement are non-existent. The work schedule is flexible, but the pay is very low. 
Eventually, the funding for your project will be terminated and there is no job security to find another job.

I learned that alot of life value's are more then important. Being a living human bring blessed with all these resources I have amongst meyself. I really need this job And it would be great to hear back from you @ you're greatest convenience have a great evening thanks.

Good opportunity to gain teaching experience. You can apply to be a teaching assistant to one or more courses. You schedule your own office hours. A rewarding opportunity to apply your knowledge to help students succeed in the courses.

McGill is a good employer. The work environment is good. The contracts do not give you good stability. The payment is low. Some facilities are old, but still functional.

No typical days in the life of an associate professor, teaching, research, team management, grant application, conference... The hardest part was certainly grant application. The most enjoyable part, undoubtedly my team.

McGill is a great workplace. The environment is enjoyable and the people you're surrounded by are very friendly and sociable. I loved studying and love working there.

Good work environment. Love working for them every year. They are very patient and flexible with me. I learned a lot over there. My first and most serious work place. They respect me.

Ok place, depends mainly on the team you are in, if the supervisor is good, then it is a good place to work in. Good  benefits but salary is on the low end for regular positions.
