The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting all the business partners and contractors and working with them to succeed. Pay is salary + profit sharing which can be lucrative. The additional pay in profit sharing is very motivating and encourages you to have an ownership mindset in the company. Culture is very important to management and is a big reason why work is enjoyable every day. Work can be stressful during busier times of season (middle of summer or winter) but everyone works together as a team to make sure no one is left stranded on their responsibilities.

Work on computer. Help customers. Organized warehouse. Prepare deliveries. Gained a lot of product knowledge. Direct manager was good. But corporate company management is soul sucking. Unless you are a brown noser, you are not recognized. Even if you do your duties as assigned (and extra) amazingly. It was nice to not be micromanaged by anyone directly. Hardest part was learning all the products and what they were used for. No option for working from home. Pay is not great for everything that was expected of you.

In the morning would do truck check and then load for deliveries and pickups for the day . Deliveries and pickups could be to businesses or job sites within southern Ontario . Mainly the Hamilton and GTA area but as far as Kingston , London , Niagara Falls . I was the companies front line with customer great service skills, bringing back customer wants and needs. I enjoyed the driving and interacting with the customers , overall was a great job but not enough work to keep me busy.

McKeough's has a very flat organizational chart.  Everyone is encouraged to act like an owner.  What that means is that you are encouraged to go the extra mile and you are rewarded with a share of the organizations profits (just like an owner).  This is not a "job" that you get paid by the hour to do what you are told.  It's more of an opportunity to be a part of team that works with it's customers and suppliers to build sustainable growth and profitability.  You get out what you put in.  I'm super proud of the people that I get to work with and they tell me that they like me too!

When you start you are told all about profit sharing. They explain the salary is not great but you make it up in profit sharing. The manager decides who gets profit sharing and if he decides you are not worthy, you don't get.
Work is not hard or difficult. Closed culture. They say they care but they really don't
Hardest part of the job is managements micro managing

Very sales driven which I guess is a good thing but when you reply to a posting for delivery driver and you expect to do that it's a slap in the face when you end up sweeping a floor for 6 hours or shovelling snow. Great if you want to do nothing. Place seems okay but if your expecting to go in and just drive, don't bother. The safety issues I saw in 2 weeks we're so bad I walked out on a Friday and never went back.

Company only interested in bottom line not employees. There is no trust. No advancement. PCMs micro manage everyone. If you get injured, they don't file reports like they are supposed to. 

Since working at Mckeough I feel valued, embraced, I feel cared for, I am a part of something big.

Great people in overall but also experienced lots of offensive racial comments and mobbing in short period of time . If you are dedicated to be in HVAC industry I recommend. If you are an individual with good education might be below expectations there isn’t really management nor proper culture.
