A typicall day at transform is veryfast paced starting with getting my assignment then proceeding to the task at hand. we get a lunch break and 2 short breaks. Management at transform if very good because they encourage feedback from the employees and always resolve issues as soon as they can. While working at Transform I learned team work and problem resolution to maintain productivity.The team mates on my shift were very nice and welcoming they would assist me if i had any questions and if they saw me having trouble they would assist me to keep up production.
The hardest part of the job is finding the nice middle zone of inspecting and production numbers to maintain production.


Working 8 hours a day, no pre-employment training, when you come in, you do simple tasks first, and then the old staff will teache you run machines.but there is never a standard training tutorial, and the level of training is not guaranteed. No one cares about your safety unless you are injured and reported to the ministry of labor. Paying more doesn't mean getting more in return. Management just wants to get more for the least amount of money. Sometimes you need to move heavier parts, which can lead to sore arms. Usually every day you need to work standing up and constantly walking around and usually your calves are swollen and sore.

Responsible for maintaining and upgrading CNC lathes, flow forming CNC machines, stamping presses, mechanical and hydralic presses, general electrical maintenance on facility. I learned quite a bit on SIEMENS and AB PLC's. I was trained as a certified worker rep so I gained invaluable experience with the JHSC. For the most part management was very enjoyable to work with. The employees became like family to me. he hardest part was the excessive overtime and inconsistency in policies and enforcement. The most enjoyable times were with co workers during lunch breaks and while working out on the floor.

Like so many job I came into this company as a temp. I was thrown on straight afternoons. And the first thing the lead hand said to me "are you flexibilily?". I said "I work for a temp agency...I'm a ball!". I was immediately put on a inspection job the first day. I was reminded of my days at Formet right away. The place stunk of lube and was very slippery in the area. The line ran steady throughout the shift that It was near impossible to use the washroom. The joys of assembly line work! People were quite helpful and the 8 hour shift went by fast. All and all it was typical factory job. No better, no worse!

It was the day shift and nothing else

Going to work every day to a continuous change in management over and over and over again

Bad management sucks employees always on edge it was a revolving door to both staff and management

Bulshit and more bulshit never a happy day run from this place

Consisted of working in the morning shifts. Learned how die forming worked and did time studies on several automotive parts. 

The coworkers were excellent and always willing to help. Teaching me new things which I was always eager to learn. 

Hardest part of the job was the commute since it was half an hour away and there were no bus routes. 

Learning new things about automotive places and discussing new topics with coworkers about current issues.

Completed my industrial electrician apprenticeship at Transform Automotive  and had a great group of journeyman to learn from. Management had unreal expectations about the cost of implementing automation. There was oil everywhere and preventative maintenance is an after thought. Low pay compared to industry standard.

I worked there for 2 years in various positions from cnc to quality and press. People are nice and supportive but the management is stiff and old fashioned. I have seen most people leaving the company within 10 to 20 months. Slim to none opportunity to grow within.

Started out as an operator 12 years ago am no a millwright, so there is promotions from within. But with ailing machines and inexperienced operators makes for a extremely busy day. Also managment is in constant turn over. That being said if your looking for overtime there is as much as you can want.

Most of the management is trained to do so in house and have no prior experience or education related to leadership. This leads to many issues throughout the company. They take advantage of their employees and provide extremely unsafe work facilities.
