What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with Medical Consultants to assess medical claims and give accurate responses to public enquiries.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Call center mentality - too many calls per person per day.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Productivity is key. Call-center mentality.

The micro managing was too much, I felt like a toddler being watched my whole shift. Every second of the shift is monitored.  There was 1 minute between calls which wasn't enough time to reset all programs to get ready for the next call. I was so thirsty during my shift, but there was barely a chance to take a sip of water. The pay is 100% not worth it. I've never felt so happy to leave a job. They give you 8 sick days / year, but if you use anywhere near 5 for the year, you get a warning and put on a watch.

Awesome benefits, dental and medical

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Fast paced environment, but theyre really good about making sure you're not completely overwhelmed

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very team oriented, lots of help available whenever needed

A regular day's work is mostly taking calls to process travel insurance products. 

Some clerical work is also required. 

The most difficult part for this work is the repetitive nature of process. 

The most enjoyable part is client contact. 

There is always something new to learn as products and clientele needs evolve. 

Environment was nice but Covid hit and caused a lot of issues. Some management was great, others were toxic and bullies. One of which held exhausting 2 to 3 hour meetings and praised herself! 

I held several team building activities and loved it 

Don't work here. Worst experience I have ever had with a employer.

Management does not care about their employees and just care about themselves. 

Highly recommend avoiding Medavie
