Not a fun place to work. Expectations are too high with very limited feedback or future planning provided.  Departmental red tape and lack of vision slows down forward progress, and the staff. Management are very unsupportive with absolutely no empathy.  If you’re not in the “management clique”, there is no hope for advancement in this organization. 

Brand new collaborative space building and young professional friendly staff. Benefits and work/life balance were great!! Not much room for advancement and management were a bit misleading about opportunities for professional growth. 

More than 20 years experience with this organization provided personal and professional growth in diversified positions. My career was mainly focused on administrative responsibilities with customer service and several years in the finance field. The relationships I gained with the staff will always be valued and respected.

The Med Skills help doctors in training get closer to helping the public and getting a major career in the medical field. We act as standardized patients with a diagnoses the doctors must decipher.

The Medical Council of Canada really focuses on ensuring that their employees have a good work/life balance by offering many work schedule possibilities like working from home or have a compressed work schedule.

By far the worse employer. Should you want to be lied to about advancement and benefits then this is your place. 
So support from management, everyone looks out for themself but they will sell you on the contrary. 
Salary is horrible 

A typical day for me while working for MCC is helping candidates sign in for the exam and giving them their exam booklets for the day followed by retrieval of their exam booklets and the end of the day.

I was only there temporarily as a standardized patient and do not feel that I can give an accurate review of the company. My short time there however, was enjoyable.

Organization devoted to ensuring excellence in learning and research. My role  as examiner does not lend itself to review the entire organization.

worked in a comfortable setting, hours were more than reasonable, pay is outstanding, got to learn new ways of working as well as gaining more work experience, overall working there was and is A+
