Medical Priorities

Always hiring new people but few hours Wonderful coworkers. Management are nice but unempathetic about issues/reports out of your control. Pay is 15-16 hourly which is fine if there were ft hours or secondary income. Higher ups need to work harder on this. Hardest thing is the constant client switch. You can be working with same people for months. You build rapport with staff, or family but especially that client. It's devastating because you KNOW this person, their quirks, expectations etc and suddenly another staff is assigned the client. On the whole you are treated well by all staff. I would've stayed here forever if I could've had ft hours

Ashamed to say that I work there... Selfish Management and some of the support are worst than them... When I started employee have to pay for their PPE and when I asked about this to the management the owner told it is great financial burden for them and employees have to pay for that... putting the lives of support workers and clients... better for it now they have started to provide... they of boast of mileage of 54 cents per km but never pay.I have worked in statroy, st thomas and other palces outside of london, selfish management looking for their cut only.. their main clients are from Mount hope but they do not pay anything for parking...workers only less than 10$/hr after all the expenses and mangement loot...

The Management really cares about you and your family.  The hours are flexible and the benefits are amazing.  I love working with all the staff.  We work as a team and we are always there for each other.  Our clients and their families are amazing too.  They really care about you.  I never worked for a more caring organization that puts you first.  I have been here for quite sometime and honestly speaking I don't believe I will be going anywhere, anytime soon.  I can see myself retiring here.  I have found a home within my employment.  Thank you Medical Priorities for employing me and for caring about me.

Lousy employment experience: the management doesn’t show any respect for the staff. Whenever a complaint arises, the employee is always considered at fault. There is no security: you can be laid off any time without reason. It is even included in the work contract. Payday is irregular and you have to go to the office to pick up your paycheque. Frustrated management yells at you on the phone. I would not recommend it to anyone.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not much. Some time the client but that it. Even the pay sucks. Management is shady. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. You bust your butt so management can gave a healthy pay while the rest of us get peanuts.

I've seen better support from strangers 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long, exhausting and not worth your time

Hundreds of employees should fight to get a shift.
Staff seems disorganized as they constantly send text messages to their employees while they are working and they expect them to respond asap, but they don't want them to use cell phone during the shift. You will get told off if you response late. Also, the schedules are very unstable. They constantly change. You would have 30 hours on one week and this will reduce to 10 hours next week.

Loved my job but there was no stability for many of us.  I was a Manager and managed 100plus staff.   I was Chairman on the Health & Safety committee. Was responsible for training new staff on Policies and Procedures from time to time.  Was responsible for scheduling all staff.

Workplace culture was good.

I enjoyed the interaction with the clients and staff that reported to me.

Promises full time - gives you 8 hours a week
Take time off - schedule cleared and youll be locked out
Will not pay if terminated - and will also terminate without ANY word and STILL hold your pay!!!! 
ONLY benifit to this company - the CLIENTS! Who in all honesty, deserve a better company to over see their care. 
I would NOT recommend employment, services or ANYTHING from this company. They truly dont care about employees.

I love working with them. They will work on you preferred schedule!  I have decent working hours and at the same time lots of time with my personal life. One time I lose hours (no client or client passed away)   I  just keep contacted the office until they give me new client.  Communication is important.  Staffs are great.  Good benefits.  Not bad for $16 salary because job is awesome, no pressure, no stress, 1 on 1 care. What else you can ask for!?

You decide when you are available. When you work a minimum of 20 hours, you are entitled to basic benefits, which is very nice. You can communicate with management at any time via email. They are communicative and very strict. Uniform shirts are provided. The clients are lovely and can have verbal or physical behaviours due to dementia. PSW pays more than companion.
