The attractive front look of this company gives the WORST experience of a life time and that is solely due to incompetent supervisors, managers and team leaders whom have not even gone to business schools nor have any management education and no managerial skills.

Just a little power given to many insecure ladies who are much more interested to gossip around the office and to spread rumours @ Executive Health Department / Montreal office- is what they do best to easily give a bad image to Telus Health Corporations. Unprofessionalism is a normal behaviour by the team leaders at Telus Health Corporations/ medisys. 

UNFORTUNATELY this company puts just anybody in charge of Executive Health department and gives them titles of  ‘ NURSE Team Leader/ managers/ supervisors ‘ !! If Telus Health goes on like this at the Executive Health Department with these type of managers in charge of Management Roles, the company will continue to loose a lot more money yearly on training staff  and the employees who don’t even last there long enough to produce profit due to incompetent managers with no skills and proper education!!!

- Ground-level clinical culture is focused on excellence, transparency, constant improvement and interdependence on teamwork
- Recent acquisition by a larger corporation may introduce huge potential for company growth, however pressure from new stakeholders for aggressive growth has resulted in organizational restructuring
- Most enjoyable part of the job: helping the economical influencers of our country focus on their own health from a holistic standpoint; being able to practically apply your knowledge in a clinical setting

This company has a horrible culture and the primary reason is management.  Over the last year we had 100 percent turnover.  Multiple surveys were completed and feedback was provided to Telus that owns the company yet we continue to see the same leaders in place.  They micromanage and do not encourage teamwork.  They are very inexperienced.  While it is nice to see that people move up in the company you cannot rely on all 3 managers that do not have experience nor knowledge on leading teams.  Everything is about the bottom line.  Absolutely no sincerity or compassion.  Because of the high turnover, everyone feels very overwhelmed.  Increase in salary is only 1-3 percent so if you decide to join negotiate a much higher salary to start with.  It is often encouraged that you bring up problems to management or HR if there are issues, but if you do you will be judged and punished.  It is frowned upon.  This is why nobody feels safe bringing up issues and they simply leave.  The location is very good.  The office is very nice and the clients are amazing.

This is a typical company that is only concerned about filling the pockets of it's executives. There is no real opportunity for advancement and they try in every way to take away or reduce the little benefits that are available. As well, reporting to HR is not confidential and if you make a complaint about management, the typical solution is to let you go. The business strategy is to buy clinics that are profitable but when the money stops coming in, instead of including the front line workers in an attempt to remedy the problem they just put the sites up for sale. The only thing that makes working for this company tolerable in any way are some of the front line workers who choose to look out for each other.

A typical day at Medisys involved seeing scheduled patients for 1 hr and performing various testing procedures. My role involved testing business executives undergoing detailed medical testing including, blood draws, spirometry, audiometry, stress testing, etc. Other patients were performing pre-placements for employment and required specific physical testing related to their employment. My co-workers were very supportive and the hardest part of the job was time management which I believe improved with practice and I handled every client with superior customer service but also provided fast and efficient testing.

People working there 10, 25 years were let go. They don't truly care about employees and health benefits costs are high. $65 per pay for level 3 individual coverage, they offer RBDP after 1 year yet they only let you keep their portion after 24 months with it so minimum 3 years for your to keep their portion and they didn't explain this at all. Given that there is no job security you can explorer different positions however not a real place to look for long term. Great product is offered but poor management.

The company is growing so much, we can feel it as employees. We the teams are getting bigger! Even thought Medisys is growing a lot there's still a very close family oriented environment. You don't feel like a number. The employees are very close to the business.Transparency. The strength is definitely the employees. GREAT, great people. Very dynamic!

Busy, constantly changing place. Medisys is a school - if you would like to get solid business experience and develop your skills and career, you are not scared to work hard in a fast paced, constantly changing environment - this place is for you. Medisys is very very fast .  

The best thing about Medisys is the people who work here.  It truly feels like a family.

The work atmosphere is great, but the management makes it difficult because of lack of direction and zero recognition or work incentives. They do the bare minimum to cultivate work culture and there is no unity or cohesiveness with other locations.

Great Staff, Questionable Management. They have many lawsuits filed against them and low accountability but otherwise friendly and secure work environment,
