Medix College

Working for Medix College is a nightmare. As a teacher you are underpaid and over worked. There is also no job security. One week you could be employed then two weeks later no students so no job. The benifits have to be paid out of the employee's pockets and have extremely high premiums. The managers have no clue what is actually going on in the campus and are very unapproachable. They want everyone to work hard for the company but dont compensate well.  Overall the students are what make working there bearable.

Medix has a fun and educational environment. The Instructor and students are very close with each other and we are like a family there. Everybody knows each others sorrows and we all try to support each other, whether it comes to the job itself or personal life.

I have all the freedom to teach, so Great teachers do a great job but other teachers who do not have the same dedication and commitment, are not corrected. There are not chances of growing, as we, with time can outgrow the position.

Although Medix is international (US and Canada), it is small in that each campus has a small work population, giving it a sense of community. They are family-oriented. Supportive management and a diverse staff. It has been a great place to work.

Recently sold, I am not sure I would feel comfortable recommending this school anymore. I unfortunately don't know much about the new management but was proud of the school when I worked there.

Atypical environment for most colleges. Good people and diverse students. Culture is growing across all campuses.. Programs and structure is set up well for student success.

A lot of politics occurring. 
Overcharge the students and underpay the teachers.
Cut costs in the program that makes teaching and graduating very difficult.

had a amazing time in this school...lot to learn and teachers are giving time to make sure you can understand everything. Nice and organized with preparation to student be ready to work.

I never worked for them.

i was just a student. Now completed my course and NACC exam. Now ready to employ my skills and experience as personal support worker.

I enjoyed working for medix, they have good work culture and an excellent ceo.
Only drawback was not good pay and not enough work hours to support oneself.
