Decent (not great) starting salary. About $21.50 to start, so higher than a lot of places, but still not high enough when you consider the economy, housing market, and out of control inflation.

Co-workers in the warehouse are great and pretty much everyone gets along and works well together. However, that has nothing to do with the company and is more about the actual people.

The company is CONSTANTLY changing their bonus program to see what they can do to give you the least amount of money possible. No matter how much anyone improves or how great the numbers are, employees get a steadily decreasing production bonus every couple of months.

Their yearly raise is 50 cents - $1. That's not a typo. Disgustingly low.

Turnover is ridiculous. Nobody wants to stay because of the insulting wages, insulting raises, and insulting bonuses.

Didn't give the employees a Christmas gift this year. Instead, the company received free items from a vendor and raffled them off. Only some employees won anything, the rest got nothing. Merry Christmas I guess.

Over a year ago new hires were supposed to get a free hoodie. That never happened.

Your attendance bonus rolls over if you take a sick day. Yes, even during the pandemic. At a medical supply warehouse.

Brand new facility still does not have toasters in the lunch room.

Constantly desperate for people to work overtime, but morale in the warehouse is low especially after the Christmas stunt and now people are starting to give up hope and just don't want to help out a terrible company anymore.

This used to be a great place to work. But since it’s opening the management has gone downhill. Couldn’t care less about its employees opinions or concerns. We were twice lied to about improvements being made to our bonuses which have plummeted from $200 a month to  $40 a month.  The long term employees radiate negativity and frustration which is totally justified. A classic example of another greedy American corporation. They sell medical supplies and their sales most certainly skyrocketed during the pandemic. None of this prosperity was passed on to employees. In actuality the reverse happened   This company gave us less as they made more. Disgraceful company with disgraceful , greedy , detached management. Pay is fair and most of the warehouse floor workers are great people and hard workers. Good benefits starting day one and paid lunches. But the ineptness and two faced habits of the management more than cancel this out. They go through supervisors like a hot knife through butter but are still too dumb or stubborn to change those ways. This place could be great again if upper management got their  heads out of the sand but that seems highly unlikely at this point. You’re probably better off just working somewhere else if possible. 

During my time with this company, I appreciated several positive aspects, including the learning opportunities and exposure to different roles. However, one concern that stood out was the noticeable presence of ethnic-based favoritism in certain departments. In multiple situations, decisions related to task assignments, scheduling, recognition, or general support appeared to be influenced more by shared cultural or ethnic backgrounds than by objective performance or skills.

While this may not be intentional, it can create an environment where some employees feel excluded, undervalued, or overlooked, even when they consistently contribute. This affects overall team morale and can limit collaboration. A workplace thrives when fairness and transparency guide decision-making.

I believe the company has strong potential, but addressing this issue through clearer policies, consistent leadership practices, and equal treatment for all employees—regardless of background—would help build a more inclusive, respectful, and performance-driven culture. With balanced leadership, the work environment could improve significantly.

Working at Medline Canada has been one of the most toxic and demoralizing experiences of my life. Management is disorganized, disrespectful, and completely incompetent. They set unrealistic expectations and offer no real support, training, or leadership. In fact, they seem to set you up to fail.

There is zero work-life balance. Overtime is expected, not optional — including evenings, weekends, and even long weekends. If you have a family, a life, or even just need rest, this is NOT the place for you.

There’s no appreciation for hard work. Employees are overworked, undervalued, and treated like they’re disposable. Communication is a disaster, and the constant changes in process make the job chaotic and frustrating. Instead of fixing the real issues, management just pushes the blame down onto the employees.

If you're looking for a place where your mental health, time, and efforts will be respected, keep looking. Medline Canada is a perfect example of how not to run a company. Stay far, far away

They will take advantage of you and expect to have your job threatened multiple times. 

For a medical company, they don't take health concerns seriously. While I worked there they fired one person because they had a chronic illness which caused them to call in a lot and another for taking stress leave. They will also threaten your job if you need to take time off due to your kids not being in school during the pandemic. 

I was mocked for taking time off after a death in the family and had my job threatened when I came back. 

They did a shift change at the beginning of the pandemic claiming it was for "safety reasons" and it was "temporary" however that was an excuse since they wanted to do the change for years. 

Last I heard, good management has left and the biggest snake of a supervisor is still there. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was a team environment. If you ever needed assistance, you need only ask someone nearby. They rarely refused. The president was also proactive with the staff. Didn't see him often, but he tried to remember individuals

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Immediate supervisors. Twice I had to go over their heads to get results. Once with my GM and the other with HR

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A little dusty. Diverse representation from different cultures. Some stuck to their own kind

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast paced. I can recall only one slow spell when we were sitting on our thumbs awaiting more orders. There was usually carry-overs the next day

Right from top to down the operations management is incompetent and clueless. They can let you go for absolutely no reason. You can expect to get hired in middle management if you are pally with someone hiring you. If you stand up for something you believe in, you can expect to get fired. There is no job development goal for an employee.
The management is least respectful, and do not care about loyalty.
If someone is more knowledgeable, they are shown the door. In short lot of room for mediocrity is allowed.
Right from VP operations to the warehouse supervisor, it is filled with incompetent people, who are in short, rejects from big corporations like WalMart and Pepsi.

Management cannot agree on anything, They want to break the policies to get work done. Not so qualified supervisors mostly on weekends and afternoons have no idea on how to plan and schedule. Mangement never take accountability for their mistakes continously blames everything on employees. Never keeps promises and very little bonuses because of errors . Dangerous place to work , people operate machines like they got extra lifes.

Still working (06-19-25). Honest review. First of all $21 is low pay. Every job you do will be timed, it's not difficult to get positive numbers (IPP Called) but you might feel that you need to hurry to catch up. Have not spoke with supervisers but  so far 2 supervisors are not friendly with hourly workers but you don't need them to do your job. just show up and show 100% of your effort. 4 day x 10hr work day, there are mandetory overtimes mostly its just 1hr. new hires not required to work overtime for two weeks. weekly pay is awesome. There are other equipments that  you can get trained  and jump to other duties. 

A typical work day includes daily assigned tasks, scheduled meeting, email communications to internal/external counter parties.

Take notes, ask questions and learn every day.

Open management in supportive working environment.

Hard part of work occurs when there is time constraint, delay in response from counter part, immediate issue without effective solution.

Enjoyment occurs when freedom is given in accomplishing tasks, supervisor monitor is taken into place and knowledgeable/experienced co-workers are around.
