Working there i realized that customer service is not only to say "Hello, how are you doing today?". If the costumer has a question in some product, we must have to show where the product is. Because they believed that in the next time, the costumer will remember and won't request again. In a workplace related a questions that you have, they don't have any worry about answering. I learned that Cashier is not always to be in the Till. You must know every item in the store to be prepared for the customer's questions.

My co-workers are very friendly, obliging and courteous. The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new people every day and learning about different cultures in Canada. Also, I love learning about different aspects of the work culture in Canada. I like how it is fast-paced also. I like to keep busy all the time.

It depends in your position. I work as a deli clerk the only busy time is from 12pm - 1:30pm. It gets easier after that. If you want a chill job, this is a good place to work. The hardest part of the job is when you get into an argument with coworkers because you then have to talk to your manager in the office.

productive workplace and fun workplace but they should be fair in giving working hours for the employees. this is one of the rason why i decided to look for another job opportunity. and i hope some companies would be able to give me chance to be part of there team

The people working there are very friendly, you can bring new ideas, the wage wasn’t bad but be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with all kind of customers. Overall It’s a good place to learn

It's rare to get 8hr shifts, hour cuts happen every few months, management doesn't respond to employee feedback. Small mistakes lead to big consequences; lack of a raises despite years of loyalty; generally feeling very unappreciated at work.

As with any "for profit" business everything is about money.   As with any employee I like to be compensated accordingly.  There is no offer of a retaining wage, the work is not the problem.

It is great store to work at. I work as assistant supervisor and most of the time i help cashier to make their jobs easy and get to meet new people. Most of our customers know me by my name and it make me feel really good.

A good place to gain Canadian job experience. The Manager and leaders from the Grandville location are very friendly, fair, inclusive and comprehensive.
