When I first came to Melitron, I thought it the hard would be challenging and stressful, but it's quite the opposite.
It isn't very dull, and you'll do nothing for the most part.
Granted, you'll learn some things like how to grind metal and how they're processing to become the menu speakers you find at restaurants, but because of the terrible workflow, you won't be doing enough work for long, and you'll just be waiting to for the day to be over at that point.

Not to say everything was wrong about the place, the people working are friendly and are willing to teach you new stuff but you won't be doing much as General Labourer.

It just offers so little, I can only recommend this job if you need to expand your resume, and that's it.
Otherwise, you're just wasting your time.

Over the past review period, I have consistently worked hard to maintain good attendance, follow instructions, and complete tasks on time. I take pride in being dependable and supporting my team whenever needed.

However, I have found it challenging to grow or excel in my current environment. At times, the workplace dynamics make it difficult to stay motivated, and I feel that opportunities for fair development or recognition are limited. I believe stronger teamwork and more balanced support from leadership would help improve overall productivity.

Going forward, my goal is to continue doing my job well while improving my skills and staying consistent. I would also appreciate a work environment where expectations are clear, teamwork is encouraged, and everyone is held to the same standard.

They hire through temp agencies so that right there will tell you it's not a career but more of a low paying job. 

For whatever reason the welding station is right at the end of a paint oven so you sweat like crazy.  I learned how to soft disk for 5 hours per day.  

Management are just like anywhere else, there are no perks to being here and the only enjoyable part of the job was working with an older guy who told great stories at break and was really funny and nice. He is gone now.

Wonderful place to work with great team environment. Management is very understanding and helpful in making everyone comfortable in each task. Work is fairly straight forward and easy to perform with good tools and supplies and equipment is always provided. The people and co workers are excellent and 100% friendly easy to get along with. The upper  management are great people and make work comfortable for new employees being a long term employee I highly recomend..

Evening shift is good but your supervisor might be slightly dramatic for no reason. 
Day shift is busy but managers and supervisors are a little toxic. Pay is too less compared to competitors in Guelph. 
Management is poor with unnecessarily too many bosses. Do not work here for too long. 

This place WILL drain the life from your soul. Happy person? Give it one year here... You won't be. Enjoy spending time with family and having an easy commute? Not at Melitron. Situated on a terrible road, in a terrible location with terrible management and working conditions. 

They will NOT pay you for skilled labour and they will take years to ever give you a raise. 

Turn over is rampant here.

Melitron is a very fast paced organization that was built from the ground up by it's owner.

All of Melitron's success can be pointed at it's president and senior managers. It is one of the few places that I have worked where things "are done right". They have their flaws of course, but theyalways continuously strive for better and better all the time.

Wonderful company to work for

Was a welder for multiple years, the only reason I stayed so long, I was comfortable but overall I have worked at worse factory’s. management wasn’t too hard on you but a lot of office people were clueless and some engineers. The work itself was very simple for welding and fitting nothing crazy complicated. Lots of light gauge welding. 

Productive and fun place to work. Promotes work life balance and collaboration. 
Open door policy promoting team members to speak and share ideas freely. Offers opportunity to learn on the job and invests in employee training and advancement. 

This place is horrible to work for, you don't grow at all in the company, some co-workers are very nice and others are complete toddlers, especially in the weld department, I'm telling you don't even try and work for this disrespectful company they don't give a care about anyone  and that's the honest truth.
