What is the best part of working at the company?
When I joined this company, I came in with optimism and a genuine belief that I could contribute to a positive shift in culture and environment, despite some initial concerns I had heard.

Following a restructuring in 2025, the organization appears to be struggling more than it did under previous leadership. Decision-making at the senior level often seems unclear or inconsistent, and there is a noticeable lack of alignment among leadership. This has contributed to confusion and, at times, a challenging work environment.

There also appears to be a gap in effective human resources support, which has impacted employee experience and overall morale. Employee engagement and recognition initiatives seem limited, leaving many team members feeling undervalued.

As a result, the company has faced ongoing turnover, including the loss of experienced and valuable employees. While there may still be opportunities within the organization, I would encourage prospective applicants to carefully consider whether the current environment aligns with their expectations and career goals.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part of working for this company can be certain members of the senior leadership team

Hired as a part time graphic designer, but seeing the lack of organization, misuse of resources, terrible employee structure and ridiculous self righteousness scared me from wanting to go full time. Marketing manager was let go and never replaced with company placing marketing and management responsibilities on employees with little experience. Often micromanaged and prevented from truly growing. Ridiculous misuse of resources and wasted time and too much control on employees wanting to do more. Employees with too much ego ready to look good in meetings but in reality don't really care or are not actually capable. Other employees taking on more than they can chew just to impress and rise up the ranks. Self righteousness company pushing internal motto and mission, hosting 'town hall' meetings for team bonding (only on surface) but not enough focus on making processes efficient and creating effective teams. Lots of rushing to finish deadlines with work being completed half-assed and having to be redone costing lots of time and $ and discouraging from doing good work. 

I was excited to join Mera and bring my extensive cannabis experience on board. Before I joined, they took a lot of time to promote how much they support employee growth, which drew me in. I regret now falling for this obvious lie.

I was brought in specifically to fix processes and improve the culture; however, every change I attempted was met with indifference or straight up scorn by management. Turns out, they lied when hiring me: They never wanted someone who would ask the hard questions and attempt to change things. They want a “yes-man” to lick boots, rather than making an honest change for the better.

The culture is all CYA behavior, with everyone looking to backstab others to get a leg up in terms of how the fickle management team perceives them. Let’s just say if you aren’t the right kind of person, management will not try to elevate you in any way.

In my opinion, this company deserves to fail and likely will soon.


Management will never have your back, they pick and chose when seniority comes into play, the only way to get a raise is to move up & then you’re looking at 6 months before they actually give you the raise and new contract or they’ll string you along and never give it to you, pathetic! Management also has no idea what CONFIDENTIALITY mean’s and will air out your personal problem’s to everyone on the floor. Along with that you will constantly deal with nasty gossip especially from management. And most importantly you’re expected to just know what you’re doing as soon as you start with no proper training and when you fail they’ll use it against you to say you’re useless. Constant blame game 24/7.  The turnover rate here is ASTRONOMICAL they’ll fire you for standing up for yourself or simply because they don’t like you. Don’t bother wasting your time!!! 

After working 2 years at Mera, I saw management play favorites with other employees and show a lack of respect to other employees. There was no career growth for employees in this company, as we were given zero relief for opportunity because of the 'quantity over quality' nature of both the way they run their company, and the state of the current industry. They took short-cuts, lack adequate employee training, and expect too much for too little give back (under-paid; pizza lunches are lame and outdated), which just shows they do not actually want long term passionate and dedicated employees. 



Well, I'm sure you can tell from the other reviews here this place is... not great. If you are considering working here, don't. Unless you can be perfect every day of your life. If you are perfect, then this is the place for you. And even then, probably not, because if you are that good of a worker you deserve to work at a good place of employment. This place will not appreciate your effort, and will blame you for all the issues have been happening since the conception of this facility. A lot of drama and backstabbing and wasted effort. Just do the kind thing for yourself and give this place a pass.

- Very inexperienced running as manufacturing facility.
- Lacks proper training methods.
- Overcomplicated processes.
- Employees are just a number.
- Management does not listen to workers concerns. Claims there is an open door policy, but punishes you or holds against you for speaking up.
- Management wears "multiple hats" and handles things as they feel as opposed to how it should be.
- Penalized for speaking up or raising concern.
- No pay raises. But lots of pizza parties/lunches.
- Lots of broken promises.
- No trust.
- Low Moral.


Working for Mera was definitely a highlight, it was fun, fast paced & you always had something to do. The days can be pretty slow but that’s with any job. I learned a lot working at Mera & met a ton of friendly faces! Everyone is very understanding & helpful especially if you’re the new person, people will help you buzz through doors, explain what to do & will make you feel like part of the team! I recommend Mera to anyone who loves fast paced work, Production, Cannabis Culture & friendly people.

From my very first day, I received a warm and wholehearted welcome. Everyone at Mera Cannabis Corp. has been incredibly friendly and supportive. The aspect I appreciate most is the respect everyone shows for each other's work. Whenever I have any questions or encounter problems, there is always someone ready to assist me. 

This isn't just about promoting the company or expressing gratitude for my new position; it's genuinely about the positive experiences and support I've felt since joining.



Very toxic work environment, stay away, if you can! Micro-manager leadership style. Little to no work-life balance. You are expected to work as if you also own the company, but you will receive no recognition for it, or even overtime pay, for that matter.

 Lots of harebrained, last minute planning. Salary workers are not payed over-time. No opportunity for over-time for hourly workers.

 If you value your mental health, for the love of God, do NOT work here!
