The company has great potential but it's too bad that some levels of management are interested solely in their personal objectives over what's best for the company.  This statement is specifically towards the corporate Controls management and management at the York SC location, as I had no exposure to other locations.  

The level of disorganization is at such a high level that only through mandatory overtime (including weekends) are they able to keep up, but only with the sacrificing of their workforce.

There are many great people trying to do a really good job but the support to achieve the desired outcome is non-existent and morale is collapsing.  

There are many obvious and critical problems that have been and continue to be overlooked, yet with little urgency to correct.

- Entered all receipts of raw materials into ERP system (MAPICS)
- Assisted Purchaser with various duties
- Back up purchasing duties during Purchaser vacation/absences
- Helped devise and implement warehouse management system using bar code system.
- Expedited internal orders when needed
- Daily interaction with many departments

Originally Rockwell Int. Now called Meritor. Sometimes great managers. Territory was very large. Top management was very focused on success. Some opportunity for transfer to US. Having a degree a must for advancement.
If you start with one job responsibility you may end up with multiple with little new compensation.
I would work for them again.

It was challenging Job everyday and so much I have learned and Worked so hard to keep our customer happy. the Management and people were so nice.  Everybody were getting Bounces for extra out put. it was so sad that the company moved to Mexico in year of 2009.

ArvinMeritor locally was a well-managed company that paid a reasonable salary with benefits and bonuses. The CEO of the entire corporation, however, was let go about 10 years after being hired. The CEO, Chuck McClure, slashed the size of the company into about one-third of its original size without seeing a proportional rise in shareholder value.

loading and unloading balancer. I learned how to balance drivelines and paying attention to detail. Management was always accommodating. People there were great to work with.The hardest part was the heat inside the plant.The most enjoyable was the people.

Very good work environment. Work really well with supervisors and with management group. They involve hourly staff in process improvement projects and continuous motivate us to participate in the suggestion program in order to improve our working environment.
