Direct day to day logistics activities
Monitor transportation rate structures within area of control
Assist with the identification and selection of carriers
Coordinate activities to meet established schedules with carriers Prepare courier shipments, commercial invoice, Letter of Credit, Insurance Certificate, Certificate of Origin and other custom documents

A typical day at work consist of answering calls (non customer service related since they abolished receptionists position). Answering emails. The worst thing is that this company is under extreme micro management so you will spend at least a few hours a day explaining and defending yourself since most members of management will bully you.

Good place to learn and  advancement  in your career. 
Managment  is friendly  and cooperative  by all means.i worked there 24 years, there was ups and downs, but overall  l am happy.  Good place to work. 
Reasonable wages, nice coworkers.

overall personally rewarding but very difficult to get promoted and to excel in the management scheme

Nice company to work to especially my customer service department. All the department managers are all approachable  and easy to talk to

workload is too much and their expectation are kind of unrealistic which makes it even more depressing. Management shows that they listen but they don't care really.

 Work was fine very friendly coworkers help me in good manner explain me how perform better job and faster .For the environmental  update the lunchroom, washroom , WIFI for employee repaint the wall   everything is full of carbon dust
