Mexican Flower

 It's a fast paced environment, and then at other times its slower and relaxed.  Things are often changing, and in terms of flowers, you'll probably never see so many again.  Starting jobs are normally pretty dull, but, if you show some ability or interest there are other tasks you can learn, and things you can learn about the flowers you see in stores from a base level.  Holidays are hard,  lots of hours, physical challenges.  The owners try to get food when it gets really hard to keep us all going, and they make an effort to pick things we might like (dietary restrictions can be hard when you have so many people from different places all working together).     Its a medium sized company but it runs like a smaller one.

Great place to work if you’re looking for quiet hiring positions. They make you feel like family when you’re not. You’ll get paid for one job, but then you’re doing 10 other people’s jobs, including what they left. The bonuses are used as ways to get people to turn against each other and then people are divided. There’s division between both buildings. At one, you get a 10 minute break to relax and at the other building; you’re not allowed to take 10 minutes. The ladies are not allowed to stand up for themselves, in fact no one ever listens to what they have to say. Usually management favourites have better treatment. Management usually leaves early but still expects you to make sure all the work they left is completed before they come in again. 

Majority of the work is entry level, it’s not challenging but you do need to move fast and have a good attitude to get a raise. A lot of great people work here. 
Typical day is processing flowers, filling pails, checking quality, moving boxes around…  then everyone cleans up at the end of the day. Holidays are hard but lots of overtime pay. There are bonuses but you have to read the instructions carefully to make it and follow the rules of the handbook to get the annual bonus and raise. They are quite flexible and understanding as managers, but during holidays it can get really hard and stressful,  so you are expected to show up (no bonus if you don’t).
This is a small company with a few managers, many people have been there for several years.

Great management, and team members. Working independently 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Pretty low stress job ,support from management and owners is excellent, everyone takes part and helps , sometimes paperwork can get a little confusing but once you get the hang of it your good 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent, treated well by everyone at Mexican, your asked to do things ,not told .Staff events like dinner out together regularly and recognizition on performance 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start time is early morning,till your deliveries are finished some days 4-5 hrs some days 10 -12 especially around holidays

There are a lot of quiet hiring positions available. If you enjoy doing 10 other peoples jobs, then this place is it. It’s more of a take and take relationship, but it’s okay because you get free guilt pizza every once in awhile and a thank you card every holiday. They give 50 cent raises which I would I can ensure helps when you need the extra money for gas and groceries (considering all the prices are going up). There is a caveat. Bonuses aren’t given to everyone even if they tell you it’s an attendance bonus for showing up every day on busy season. 

So many beautiful people work at this place. So much anguish. So much stress. So much complaining about work and then about money problems and then about life. Who's fault? Management? Capitalism? The retreating whisper? I wouldn't be able to say, but there is pain at this workplace. I've stopped working there long ago, but the cries are still ringing in my ear. Pray for MFT!

It's a very good place to work. 

The hardest part is that you have to do a lot of things individually and at a very fast pace. But at the same time, it's great to work this way because no one bothers you, and you know if you work harder, you can earn more money. The best part is that everyone is very friendly; you work with joy and enjoyment.
They're kind, respectful, and provide excellent benefits.

Flower delivery trucks are newer and well cared for management is fun to work with and employees with time invested are treasured.  Driving Local can be shorter days and a clear set of expectations should be considered before taking on this position time is generally made up by doing a little more and on valentines Easter and mother's day 

At Mexican flower there is a lot of work to be done. It done either inside the warehouse or delivering the finished product to the stores. Delivering the product is pretty easy and is a standard driving/ delivering job. Inside the warehouse there are hundreds of small jobs that need to be done daily in order for the company to run smoothly.

If you enjoy of work in a team work this is the place, you can learn as much as you can and every body helps to another...if you rach production's goals there gonna be an bonification.
