Benefits. Pension/RRSP contributions. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management pressures, seriously, they need to get their heads out of their behinds. Happy employees are better than stressed ones. It's not a great job, don't make things worse than they already are. 

Production targets are generally too high for the workforce they have. They need a lot more employees. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor. Everything is a fight to get support. The culture is one of doubt and suspicion, and competition, not co-operation.

Company provides lot of training to new hires. Good pay and benefits for employees. 

However, the job is really stressful specially for maintenance. Working under stress has made lot of people cranky. Management can be better. I had my fair share of managers some were really good and others didn't even know things I worked on for a whole year.

Good place to be if you want to become a manager and advance your career in areas other than engineering design as not much career progression options for engineers who want to stay in design side of things.

If you preform the physical assessment during the interview process with this company at 100% strength (personally), the will overload you with a position that may be too heavy to stay in. For example, the overweight are almost always sent to work in the easier departments. Someone who is very physically able, and shows that, will typically be placed in heavy positions within the company that will wear down your body. And once you are injured, they won't accommodate you fully, nor transfer you to an easier post without a fight.

Training was ok. After that management expects you to know everything.
Toxic coworkers. They talk about EVERYONE behind their backs, especially if you get hurt or sick.
Family is everything unless you need something or disrupt any part of their workday, they make it their mission to set you up for failure.
Different pay scales depending on when you got hired. Guys there longer make way more and you'll never reach that pay grade.
This is not a review based just on myself but my overall experience and what I've seen.
Make sure you are the favorite or you'll be stuck at a horrible job your whole career there.

Great environment for a tradesperson to soak up a ton of knowledge. Heavy on mechanical work, but also on electronics, PLCs, VFDs, and with lots of support. Great variety. Learn as much or as little as you want. You get what you put in. Supervisors didn't breathe down your neck as you're working - for the most part. 

Cons: The shift rotation is difficult - hard on the body and taxing mentally. Can be a warm and smelly place, especially in the summer months. Rubber jam-ups on rollers and conveyors can be a real pain. Feels like it was often 'feast or famine' in terms of machine breakdowns. 

Great travelling rep job. Driving to see clients in your territory. All expenses paid for the transfer in Canada. Even allowed for 2 tickets back to deal with move from one province to another. Company car was supplied. No expenses there. Too much driving and paperwork at end of week and prepping for week to come. Severance pay was more than generous when they changed territory coverage. They are looking stable family environments. Conservative approach to work. I would work there again. They provide 3 months training. 

Opportunities to grow a career without prior experience is nice. Very large company though, so easily treated as just another number with the wrong manager in power. Management top heavy and rotating shift work can become stressful creating a poor work life balance in my experience, in production and in maintenance departments. Pray for a good manager if you want to succeed here without getting burnt out. Maintenance works every holiday except Christmas.

Be there one half hour to fifteen minuets before start of your shift. Meetings at shift start to bring shops up to speed on the last shift and what the goals are for the day. Work as a team in a very safety conscious environment. Well structured management for the most part. Enjoyed my years working for this company and would recomend them to any person seeking a solid career.

Loud, hot, smelly, dangerous. Staff is great but career planning does not really apply unless you have tenure.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Monotonous, repetitive, long and tiring

a typical day starts at 7, you go to your post on the which ever machine you are trained on and thats where you work for the day
- I learned to become independent, as well gained experience with power tools.
- management was poor, while a lot of things were said very few ideas were ever put into action.
- co-workers were very nice
- the hardest part of the job was the physical aspect of it. 
- the most enjoyable part of the job was how easy things become when repeated over and over.
