Middlefield Collegiate Institute

This isn't really a job. My French Teacher hired me to be a tutor for my peers. This happened after school, where I would tutor my peers once a week. My French Teacher was my supervisor. She gave me volunteer hours for tutoring my peers. I was a way gain work experience, review my French theory, help out my peers, and get to know new people. I also  did the same for Math. I learned to take on challenges, and work with different kinds of people. My co-workers (peers) were all very thoughtful and friendly, There is nothing hard about this job. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with many people with different learning skills. I felt very happy when my tutees got good marks at end of the semester.

A typical day of work consisted of assisting the professors with grading and inventory of chemicals, and equipment. I have learned time management, proper inventory procedure and team work. My co workers were phenomenal they worked as hard as I did and helped me many times. Till this date I am still friends with my co workers. The hardest part of the job was timing fluctuations, sometimes there is two hours of work and at times there is only ten minutes. The most enjoyable part of the job would be learning new things, having amazing co worker and great support system.

This place is a very good to work at. A typical day of work is very encouraging since this place provides many things you can do. I improved my collaboration skills, as well as my writing skills because I had the ability to write many articles. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with due dates. I had to write many articles consistently, however I was able to keep up.

I obtained many new skills, and any other previous skills were enhanced. I learned a lot about interacting with new people. The management was extremely friendly.

At my high school i helped out at parent teacher interview night, by assisting  and greeting parents, handing out flyers and making the parents feel welcome.

Found it very fun to inspire young athletes to reach their potential. Highly advocate working here if you're interested in gaining experience working with students.

It was a new experience indeed where we were to practice and execute perfectly a task we have been practicing with fellow classmates as well setting up technological equipment

Working at Middlefield was good, the work environment was really nice and everyone was friendly. The hardest part of this was that, there was a lot of people, coming to get items from you.

Good to get hands-on volunteer work. Lab assistance with teachers are good, to learn about a lab environment, and help them too gain personal character traits.

Very good place to work. Has an inclusive environment, understands different capabilities and does not push you our of your comfort zone to make you do certain activities.
