Mikhaiel Logistics is a very versatile and entertaining working environment, providing many different positions with many different purposes and activities/tasks that come along with your role, proving to be quite time passing as not many other workplaces seem to pull this off. Mikhaiel Logistics also provides you with the freedom to work optional overtime, management contains some.of the best people I've ever met, very open to trying different ways of training or helping, providing helpful tips etc. to help you make the most out of your experience here. If you like a good day at work, with some pretty comical coworkers, and a position that makes your job seem 2 hours long? Work at Mikhaiel Logistics!

No experience needed to get hired here. You can be on a machine with no previous experience or knowledge of how it works. Most of the workers are now international students that get more benefits than older employees. Other shifts and new hires are paid more than workers that have been there several years. No boot allowance and no chance of moving into higher positions. If hired as a picker that is your job for your entire time there. Supervisors talk down to you and treat you and resort to name calling. (Mainly afternoon supervisor) but appears to be across the bored from what I’ve been told. Very little training once hired or trained by new hires instead of people that have more knowledge of the position. 

This ware has the lowest and worst benefits I've been. No wage increase. They treat you like a nothing and it's a depressing sad place to work. Very poor management, false promises and absolutely no compensation and unsafe area to work on. The hardest part of the job is not the job itself but the lazy guy who always at his chair seating not helping and don't know nothing. And most Portuguese people are very toxic. I don't recommend working here unless you want to work like a nothing and don't get any benefits or raise. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Worked in Montreal. Really nice team. Good supervisor and boss; always reachable when I needed assistance. The job was quite pleasant. I certainly don't think that the people who give bad ratings here on Indeed are representative of how the majority of Mikhaiel Logistics' employees feel about their job.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If there was any stress at all, it was weather related and not company related. And when there was a huge snow storm, my superviser would let us choose whether we felt comfortable working or not.

Mikhaiel used to be a good placed to work but since they have built the new facility it's gone downhill. They fire you with no notice. No verbal or written warning, straight to termination. They look down on you if you don't do overtime when asked. The management is horrible and have no problem yelling at you like a child. They don't communicate with each other so one person will tell you something is fine and then the next person will fire you for it. They expect high picking numbers when their inventory is screwed. Stay far away from this place.

The management at this location is primarily focused on meeting targets, often at the expense of workplace safety. There is a lack of proper equipment, frequent machine malfunctions, and no effective safety measures in place. Employees who ask too many questions risk termination without justification. The Human Resources team appears to have little understanding of their responsibilities, providing minimal support to employees. Training is inadequate, yet employees are expected to meet targets almost immediately.

Management are amazing people. They jobs are straight forward and everyone has a purpose. I left because there was a lot of drama with some of the employees here and it felt like I was in high school all over again. It’s not managements fault and they did try to handle the situation more than once, I met some great people working here and I miss those few people. It wasn’t worth my mental health to stay though, dealing with such drama from a few select people, I found myself driving home crying or angry or stressed. It was to much after awhile.

The joy of ur colleges  .. and the lady singing at the wrap machine

Nothing always a welcome family entertainment

Most days are busy which helps the time pass quickly.

A typical day was chaotic with poor management and low morale. I learned to manage stress. The hardest part was the disorganisation; the best part was leaving.
