I worked there as a truck driver on behalf of an owner operator, beginning they were so nice and informed me you can get the trip where ever you are comfortable and offered me 2500-3000 miles. And i requested to give me one long and one short trip to make miles but unfortunately not. And the dispatch is so bad handling drivers, if you ask something they never give you make you wait and play behind to cut your waiting time pay, Dispatch has so much attitude. At last i was forced to quit the job. I dont suggest anyone here.

they keep you busy you can work as long as you want

some of the roads in the US make it very hard to sleep when your partners driving

no pressure, friendly staff They’re very easy to work with

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long no no pressure kept well informed tipple drives down to Texas, so you go from cold to hot weather on a regular basis

I started at Mill Creek 18 years ago as Accounts Receivable. 
After a few years I advanced into Driver Payroll.

After a few years in Driver Payroll I wanted more.  I went to night school for Human Resources and in 2006 I was promoted to HR Manager. 

In HR there really isn't a typical day. Each day varies depending on what is needed.  In my position you need to be able to multi task, put down something incomplete, do something else and then go back to what you were working on. 

Management care about their teams. No one feels they are just a number here.

Very nice dispatch. Work with your schedule. But don’t look for more miles as they divide their miles between everyone. Around 11000 miles per month. Shop is the worst. If they find even a utility light not working, You are out of service. You can’t go on your trip unless you fix it. Even MTO doesn’t check that. Owner operator is already making less, who wants this. If I ever leave, it would be because of their shop.

No raises for years (one pay DECREASE)
They try to work with your schedule but they don't stick to it
Management does NOT respect seniority
Drivers treated like snot
Drivers not defended in the case of a dispute
Dispatch not pro-active at all
Some dispatchers are outside Canada
Constantly losing contracts because they don't know how to bid


Great team environment, all departments work well together, when there is an issue it is a collaborative team decision on best outcome outside of safety. New equipment on a 3 year cycle! Come explore the great opportunities available 

From dispatch to safety to manager everyone here is respectful and appreciates the job you do. No forced dispatch. Worked as an owner operator and their rates were pretty good. Only con is the maintenance team as they can be a pain in your butt most of the time. Overall I would go back and work for Millcreek if I chose to run cross border again. 

Dispatcher works with your schedule but max 11000 miles per month. If you get 3000 miles in one week, they will reduce your miles the following week. Their repair shop will also put you out of service for minor reasons. Overall 5 star company but only 1 star for shop

Low wages with the inflation just rip you off .Management does not do anything even after complaints .dispatch is worst as they give more work to their own community and you can’t even complain about that .

The working environment was pleasant and the people were easy to get along with.
I had lots of freedom to do my job.
The job had it's challenges but it was rewarding as well.
