Most guys I worked with were good. Typical day of work consisted of fairly standared things with perhaps a fair bit more frustration due to lack of material even after pointing it out many times for weeks. Higher management wasn't bad but honestly cant say for sure since a foreman I had was TERIBBLE. Their pay isn't bad but not good either, the overtime is good but their travel benefits leave a lot to be desired. Hardest part for me was being at the mercy/luck of the foreman which can be very hit or miss (had both). They do not seem to have a good retention rate = questionable foremen = left me always feeling like I was going at things a bit blindly or wrongly.

Worked construction since I was in my teens, residential and commercial. Never have I worked on sites less safe.

Panel covers left off live equipment 120/208V & 600V, first years teaching first years, being asked to feed into live gear, sites so choked with concrete dust/welding fumes/AWP/truck exhaust that visibility is impaired, insufficiently tall ladders to reach raised areas, constant near missed when excavation equipment on site, being told to pull feeders in with lift platforms.

Stressful work environment due to paradoxical situation where your always behind schedule, but the only prints your given are so out of date that rooms on the prints don’t match what’s been framed.

Pay is decent though.

I've been with MiLo Group for over five years.  During that time I have not had more than a couple of slow weeks.  Which says a lot during this economy.  The managers are great - fair and honest and treat the field employees with respect and honesty.  We are well paid and have good benefits.  the company really seems to care about the employees. 
It's a good group of people in the field and in the office.  I've never felt mistreated and disrespected and have been given lots of opportunities to do new things and learn new skills.  they have a very up to date safety program and it is actually well enforced.

A typical day at work with Milo Group started with a toolbox meeting. We would discuss what needed to be accomplished that day and the proper safety procedures for doing the tasks. I learned a lot of proper technique for doing several things such as pipe bending, securing pipe/wires, pulling wire and instillation of devices and lighting. The hardest part of the job was doing good quality work on a tight time frame. The most enjoyable part was learning from the master and journeyman electricians there and the good nature of my fellow workers

Milo Group is a great company to work for.  Management and staff are fair minded and keep a positive attitude. I enjoy the work and the sense of accomplishment I have at the end of each day. Field work is project dependant and if you are successful in your role, Milo Group will find a way to keep you even during the construction off season. Even during the economic slow down Milo Group has had work, which says so much about the management team.

Good place to work if your just starting out, you learn a lot off the start. The foreman are pretty good and understand that you have a life outside of work, but the management has a hard time seeing that. Had to fight to get a day off for my birthday with the management, but the foreman totally understood. 

I liked everyone I met at Milo. The work was good and they are safety minded. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough work to keep everyone employed, but I feel that says more about the economy than the company. They seem to care about the employee.

worked with them as long as I could take it, management has no care for employee concerns. if you shut you mouth and be a yes man you will do great. Very little direction and foreman (one in particular) will throw employees under the bus for their own short falls. 

I had to stay drunk most days working here as it was the only way to deal with the constant gongshow. Got injured off the job and they canned me, good riddance. 

It seemed like no one ever knew what was going on, job sites fell behind, material never got ordered, and workers would get paid to stand around and do nothing, which sounds great except if your there wanting to learn.
