When starting here the job seems not that bad. However, a month or so in you start to understand how terrible it is to work there. Lets start with the good! On not very busy day the work load is easy and its not hard work. Just lots of cleaning. If you are very sales driven it is not to hard to make some extra $ on the side of the main pay and sometimes they have some alright promotions. Lastly your co-workers are all chill and it easy to make some really good friends there. Now on the bad... Firstly the cooperate. These guys are the most two-faced and money hungry people you will ever meet. They nitpick EVERYTHING. They are willing to keep the car wash open even when broken if it means they will earn an extra dollar. They have no regard for satisfied customers or employees. All they see is money money money. Second off the work place stress. Whilst I did say the work load on quite days is easy, Its quite the opposite for busy days. They will make you do the work load of 3 people for minimum wage and some days you don't even get to go for a break. They will often times ask you to work overtime without overtime pay. All and all if you are looking for a summer job or a start into the world of sales I would highly recommend this job. However, if you are looking for something 4 months+ I would try to avoid this place.

Typical work day is bouncing between 5 different sub roles to keep you running like a bouncy ball while the GM AM watch you, as if your at a Zoo.

Be prepared to get a pride shirt, and then be targeted out because of your orientation. Never been at an organization that believes in pride towards customers but will gut you in the back for job advancement.

Be prepared to file a grievance and be told your just a nuisance, sorry, just a number, as your boss as cozied up to head office.

Be prepared to have accidents at work, and be told it’s just a scratch when it could easily have been a severe accident.

TLDR; mint is new, and small. And it’s going through growing pains and hasn’t been ironed out. Be prepared to be changed like diapers, disposable, replaceable.



This job is the most toxic workplace I have ever had. Ownership and management are like a dysfunctional marriage. They treat the employees like complete garbage and micromanage absolutely everything. Most of the wash it self does not work as advertised, memberships are not unlimited and have auto renewable charges ready to go even without the customers consent. In one week they let go of 6 people that have been there for over a year just to “change the culture” instead of trying to properly solve the problem. Please If you consider applying go anywhere else. This job is not worth it for any pay, any position at any time. Save yourself a headache.

Overall pretty open and welcoming, other than a few people in positions of power who were very condescending.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Often working outside on sales. Yes, you're outside all day even when it's 30 degrees. If you aren't good at selling, you stay in the tunnel. Most of the time it's not a horrible balance between the two on a daily basis.

It was nice and relaxed when it opened but after the first 3 months it was under staffed. And everyone was supposed to get a raise every 3 months and i was there for a year and it never happened. The managers were  super nice but some of the supervisors acted like they owned the place and wouldn’t do work. They hire random people with criminal records or that were homeless or drug addicts. it would take months to fire them. Some of the co workers had beef. The sales shack was the worst because people would just talk bad about others in there. And in summer you couldn’t be inside it even when it was +30

Was a blast working here when I started a few months ago. But new management is a joke. They don’t care for anything, other than money and numbers. You are no human in their eyes, just a number that they can kick out any second. Avoid working here if you value your mental health and self-respect. I’d rather work for $2 less anywhere else than the small raise they give you for such high responsibilities. If you are a supervisor or above, you will be given the responsibilities of 5 people. Not worth the time, money, or stress. 

You’re not a person to this company. You’re a number and you’re disposable. Next to no training in what you’re expected to do, but then get written up when you do something wrong even when you didn’t know. 
Head office is a joke. Run by a handful of people who don’t care about anyone or anything besides the brown nosers. Even cast off complaints if the person your complaining about is making the company money. 

the coworkers are nice, you meet pretty good people but MANAGEMENT SUCKS.. they care more about how people perceive their company then the well being of their employees.. they’re cheap with resources but still expect you to do a lot.. you’re paid well if you mostly do sales.. or work mid day shifts.. but if you’re closing? you’re doing more work than you’re paid or trained for.. they also don’t listen to your availability.. other than management it’s an okay job

The team that works at the location is good, but anyone from corporate or beyond is there to fill a quota, and you’re just a number in the machine to do it. If you are going to work here, be sure to keep clear boundaries on what you’re comfortable work-load wise, because if you’re not they will keep giving you more until you can’t take anymore, and then let you go with a pat on the back and a good luck.

Worked here briefly. Upper management seemed inexperienced, going back-and-forth on issues all the time. They also failed to standardize processes, which I routinely rubbed up against in my role. Leadership was also not supportive to customer-facing workers. This is a very stressful place to work as a retail leader.
