Brilliant company to work for, Very friendly and helpful and always on time with wages. Always top up with the appropriate supplies when needed. Wouldn't want to leave. I work on my own and have the keys to let myself in the staff at the bank are very friendly.  When I ask for extra work they usually find someone that I could cover for a week or so, Carnt do it now because of the Universal Credit messing up so I need a sustainable cleaning job now .  The most enjoyable part of the job is being on my own and left to get on with it. When I get in I make a cup of coffee and away I go , collect cups and wash up,  toilets, bins, dusting, hoover, mop and clean glass. The hardest part of the job is going up and down stairs relay and taking all the equipment  with me, Sometimes my foot hurts a lot from having a bunion but that depends on the weather. I dont need to learn that much any more because of the amount of cleaning work I've done In the past started of when I was in college and got a part time cleaning job and never looked back a bit mad I know with all my qualifications but if my foot was OK it might of been different .

What is the best part of working at the company?
Chemicals and kit arrived on time the managers I had were always a phone call away I enjoyed my working life balance with them


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The only stresses were getting to the sites on time as I do not drive

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Walk from. Simonside to tesco Prince Edward Road clean Prince Edward Road for two and a half hours walk to tesco Westoe Crown Village clean for two and a half hours walk to King Street metro home go to tesco Gateshead trinity to clean deli three nights a week

My role involves cleaning the cooperative stores in my local town. I start at 6am and must be finished by 9am in time for the opening of the shop.
My management are freindly and helpful and always at the end of a phone if I require any assistance. I don't see many co workers as the job requires me to work alone, however on the occasions where I do, they are always sociable and helpful.
The hardest part of my job is the early start to the day, but this is outweighed by the fact that I am finished before most people are awake!
I enjoy all aspects of my work and am proud of the sese of achievement knowing that I am an important part of a team.

I really didn't do that much during my employment, mainly meeted and greeted visitors and ensured they signed in and out. I guess as I was only there for a few days, they didn't want to waste their time teaching me other aspects of the job.

My colleagues seemed to be friendly enough and I have kept in touch with a couple of them.

The hardest part of the job was being able to direct people to the right person or department for their needs as Network Rail is such a huge organisation.

I enjoyed booking Meeting Rooms and generally meeting and greeting the visitors.

This company are badly managed and ran.  They employ staff who cannot speak or understand English who are in management positions, and who have no understanding of how to run a company at all.  Working outside cleaning dirty mobile toilets in all weathers, without being provided with adequate uniform, and expected to carry heavy cleaning equipment means  the job would be more suited to a weight lifter than a normal employee.  Was treated shabbily and made to feel inferior and not good enough.  No respect and concerns raised were ignored.  I had a terrible experience with this company.

The job itself is fantastic yet Mitie seem determined to squeeze out the good people and leave the others. As this is a high security job the tools given to so the job , both physical and available on phone, are laughable. They even employ people who haven't experienced driving a lwb van and expect them to securely transport high risk individuals.

A strange company to work for, poor management, seems to be the less work you do the more praise you get. 3 years of committed service and 110% with nothing but empty promises of progression and training with non what so ever. if the salary wasnt as ell paid i would never work for this compnay

I cleaned shop floors toilets and office empty bins l was leave to do the jobs on my own mite do leave you to get on with the job l started at six am in the morning  leave at eight am worked Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday and Saturday the people working at the Co op was not very friendly people felt like out side

typical day would start about 7 serving customers until about 3pm 
I learned how to do stock taking 
management was never around 
co-workers were nice but done the minimum 
hardest part of the job was serving customers at the tills during lunch hour 
nothing
