During my time with the company, I had a steady 4-6 days a week. As my first more full time job at the time, it was very welcoming. A lot of staff were there for several years and then some. So it was easy to learn a lot and hear many different experiences and get to know a lot of different people. 

Moving up within the company isn’t something immediate and seniority plays a part in that. Such is to be expected though, and to me it’s what made it all the more worth it and challenging to stay for a few years. 

Pay’s pretty good for what it is. For somebody getting into the workforce, back into it, or changing careers it can definitely be good change of pace. Teaches you a lot about teamwork and doing things for yourself and others all at once. 

When me and my former partner were there, they were very accommodating for scheduling. Wether that is for ride sharing, availability, or personal preference. 

I will say this though, in the summers stay very hydrated. Make sure to eat a decent amount during the day because it can be a lot of physical labour. And always remember, it is what it is. 

 Our St. Joseph's Group Purchasing Organization was acquired by Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) on April 1, 2021. The transition for our team was positively supported by the departments within MMC. All questions and concerns were addressed on an individual and group basis as required. We are now a part of the MMC family. The organization is focused upon a collaborative and professional atmosphere. There are major upgrades and additions occurring throughout the organization to meet future healthcare requirements, and with them, come the usual challenges. In the end, the organization will become stronger and better equipped to meet the needs of the future through collaboration. The organization has a commitment to patient-centric focus across various lines of business. Since joining MMC, 40% of our team have achieved career advancement. I am proud of how MMC has supported the provincial response to COVID, and our team members are proud to have been a part of it.

Over my tenure at MMC I have been proud to work for such an interesting, innovative company.  The people working here care about serving the member hospitals and perform great work.  Every day is not typical, there are always new things to learn.  The company provides great pay, benefits, learning opportunities and work incentives.  MMC hires Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Nurses, Strategic Sourcing professionals and many more professions within all realms of expertise for the business.  Working along side these professionals, increases your knowledge base and they truly are interesting to know because they are willing to share their knowledge.
I have always felt proud to work for our organization and the work we do for our member hospitals.  The people are certainly an added bonus.

At MMC you can expect a collaborative and professional environment that is very committed to patient care across all lines of business. The organization provides ample opportunity to learn and grow with career advancement. You will also find that they have a very strong leadership team. I was very proud to be a part of MMC, especially their support of the province in response to COVID, which demonstrated their full capabilities. 

Very hot in the summer, if you're in maintenance you get paid for 11.25 hours but you're expected to be on call for 12 hours a day, as a tradesperson you're expected to do everything including janitorial work. Safety is not really a priority as they want to make you believe. You pay union dues 2% of your wages and get back not very much. All in all keep away from this place unless you really need to work, use this as a stepping stone.

I started as a summer student in May and was offered full time employment in July. So far, my experience has been nothing but positive; my coworkers and managers have been extremely supportive in providing the training I need to succeed in my role, and it is rewarding knowing that the work I am doing is providing better outcomes for patients across Canada. I look forward to many more great years here at MMC.

It's not hard and even workplace seems like familiar.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes we feel headache and suffocation due to heat

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Both factors seems like family and relatives.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I like everyday over there and feel glad.

This place is fun. place to work. The team leads are amazing. The supervisor is very good. it is a very fast paced environment. if you are someone who like fast paced work , then this is it. The supervisors are very empathetic and I enjoyed my time there. 
If you're doing marshaling, you will be good but if you go sorting, small back pains but you will be fine as you take the pace

decent warehouse to work at in oakville.

compared to other warehouses the pay is average

they preach safety but a lotta kids working there dont practice it

company is too top heavy with clerical/office workers

I had a very good summer learning more about the industry and MMC’s communication strategy. My manager was extremely supportive and gave me many opportunities to learn. I was pleased with hybrid office work as well as MMC's strong commitment to providing internship opportunities
