Very few companies take such care of their employees. In part perhabs because of the Union/syndicate  in place which allows for a better work culture than say Labatt where you are treated like a horse as is also the case in most if not all unsyndicated warehouses in Quebec. 

So in that regard Incan tell you it's a great place to work at in comparison with any other warehouse and production company in Quebec. You wont regret it. 

However, there are many behaviors and approaches the administration takes that result in a loss of motivation from the employee. 

Things like the work performed in overtime not counting on your overall performance review which results in the supervisors (here called coordonateur or "acting" for the rank below) requiring workers to perform 100% during the shift regardless of what has been accomplished prior or after the shift. 

In one way it is good since it is not expected to be a 100% effort applied during overtime which is very humane but in the other when a person is tired, still being poked for performance during overtime and performance during the shift itself there is clearly a discrepancy between the management, their values and how they are applied. 

So the lack of congruence in management can be very frustrating for the employees which usually just results in a lack of motivation. 

The other issue that most stroke me was how employees that have been there for longer influence the new recruits by way of example. 

Management expects temporary and substitute employees to perform yet allow permanent employees every conceivable flexibility which of course creates an enormous disparity between employees. 

This is lead by the protection permanent employees get by their syndicate however also based on the premise that "the longer you work" for them the more permissible your relationship with your employer becomes in a sense. Of course a debate can be made to disprove this, regardless though what I am pointing at is how unfair this interaction becomes for newly arrived employees. Where they are required to work hard while the permanent employees barely perform as much or asked as much. 

Many other issues can be discussed, many other opinions can be described and expressed. 

All in all for a warehouse the work is decent, the tolerance level is pretty high. The respect shown by the administration for their employees is commendable and the professionalism of most coordonateur will always be a great example of leadership. 

After all running a warehouse is no small feat and they do it quite well. 

Best of lucks to Molson Coors and all their endeavours. I shall remember them gladly. 

There's layers upon layers of mold built up for generations in the labyrinth of cellars.

No job security as they intend to get rid of most temporary workers in the winter time. Need to return several summers to finally get hired full time. Once full time, you can get away with barely working and still not get fired.

The salary for new employees is garbage. For a mega conglomerati, you'd think they'd be able to at least pay the same as a craft brewery, but they don't Meanwhile, for tenured employees, the salary is insanely good, and their pension prints fu*k-you money when they retire at 55. No new employee will ever be treated like this.

There are daily meetings which helps employees get an idea of what to expect, however communication is very one-way.

All-in-all this works as an entry point for someone looking to break into the brewing industry. You will receive free boots of awesome quality, and receive your yearly beer allotment all at once.

I learned so much over the 12 years I was at Colts food service.
I started off as a cahier in the largest concession. From their I became the floater in that concession. To cook and then supervisor, from their I became concession manager.
Where I was in charge of hiring  and firing of staff, placing and receiving product into the building. Calling service tec in to fix vending machines etc.
I learned how to program all out vending machines.
I was responsible for assisting in monthly inventories, ran over half of the caterings that came into the building.
Did the shopping and set up for the bands that came into the Molson center.
Set up and did all ordering for the barrie speedway when we bought into it.

While working at molson coors gained insight into the inner workers of breweries and how product is organized and distributed throughout the warehouse. I was given first hand experience in product packaging and movement of full goods and return glass. 

 The management was fair and understood that learning was part of the job, but they also ensured that you were comfortable and working to your full potential.

The co-workers were patient, hardworking and provided assistance if required.
The hardest part of the job is ensuring that you work hard enough to maximize production day in and day out. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was being told by management that your crew was the most productive.

Cleaning warehouse floor with a scrubber dryer ride on machine, liaising with the shift manager to eradicate problem areas for the safety of the Fork lift Trucks, general cleaning duties including mess rooms and toilets. working a three shift continental pattern, at the end of shift put all vehicles and cleaning products in there rightful place and produce a shift changeover for the next cleaner to identify and inform of any problematic areas or mechanical issues with the machines that we used, also making sure all stock levels were ok and then hand over.

A typical day at work included travelling to events, such as a bar or golf course and promoting Molson/Coors products. I learned much about the products I was promoting as well as I enhanced my interpersonal skills by interacting with a wide variety of customers. The management was amazing as they were very flexible managing a large team. My co-workers quickly became my friends, and we all got along as we worked late nights. The hardest part of the job was learning about all the different products, but I caught on quickly. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing all the different events, because I got exposure to this job field.

Learned many things at Molson Brewery , like how to take care of the equipment as if we own the truck on a daily basis.
Trained how to deal customers complaints and help solve the issues outright if possible. 
Or call the immediate supervisor to resolve  issues beyond our pay grade.
Proper training on how to deal irritant drivers on the road.
Constant reminder from the management once out on the road, we are bringing the name of the Company,  to be professional,  courteous , always listen to customer's needs or concerns.




Working for Molson Coors has been quite the experience. Unfortunately the turnover for management is fairly quick, therefore once you get use to working for someone they do take them away. 

As a massive company the only thing that Molson needs to keep in mind is that they need to consistently take care of their employees.
Once the employees feels appreciated, anyone would usually go over and beyond work ethics wise. 

You do meet a decent amount of people within the time you work there(wether its because your on a contract or not).  As your introduced to some many people you start to appreciate the different personalities you come across.

I can't tell cause my options was limited 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Knowing that you be working and accumulating 3000 hours in about 2 years a's temporary no benefits no vacation to be permanent employee

The work environment and culture it's clean and ok but the permanent employees and the temporary are not treated the same way

As I was temporary.My typical day at work was to stick to the assignment that my supervisor gave me

Molson Coors is overall an excellent company. However it is for youth fresh out of school who may live at home. The job does not pay enough for the cost of living in the lower mainland of bc. It’s an excellent platform for people out of school getting into the whole sales and marketing world. Very structured company with excellent training. Many youth who are financially driven will leave after a few short years to move on to Annette praying job with good tools they have received at Molson. Hence employee retention in the sales and marketing role is not good.
