Horribly run organization. Extremely stressful job with absolutely no support from management. The ABA support worker position is specifically an extremely difficult and stressful one. Management is completely unreasonable with their expectations of you and does not support or care about your mental health as long as the session is filled. They prioritize profit over their employees well-being. It doesn’t matter if you have a family emergency. They still expect you to show up to your session. You burn out quickly from this job. Or if you’re lucky become numb to the challenges within the job. Absolutely no care for staff. Poor scheduling and burnout from other employees causes your schedule to be changed every few days. Messages and emails from Senior Therapists and Management on days off and off shift hours hinder you from properly taking care of yourself during off hours. The training is extremely intense and compacted in a short amount of time. So it feels extremely overwhelming from the beginning. A lot of travel which makes days feel longer. During sessions you are alone and it makes the job feel completely isolating and lonely. They will throw you with whatever client and it doesn’t matter if they pair well or not. Most of their employee contracts specify a 30 day notice, which is completely unreasonable. A very intimidating workplace. Their main center feels extremely tense and hostile. Overall a very unpleasant and unwelcoming experience. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
That it's a big space, with several them rooms with the necessary material for the kids to play and learn.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
That you don't have fixed hours, it can vary or being cancelled at the moment and you don't get paid for it. You don't have time to prepare for the client before it's arrival or to clean up afterwards, it all need to be done while the client is there.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The other ITs are really welcoming and willing to help and support other staff whenever they can. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyday starts different due to you schedule depends on the sessions you have scheduled for the day, you arrive (and get paid) when the session with the client starts, that's when you get your data sheets and materials ready for the session while the client plays around the assigned room.
You get 30min of unpaid lunch, which sometimes it's not really half an hour fue to finishing a session and having to drop off the client at the door or due to the staff covering was held up on something else and is not able to be on time, but then there is no time available to make up for your lost lunch time.

-draining job emotionally, physically, and mentally
-VERY HIGH TURNOVER and BURN OUT yet no one does anything to help mitigate this
-rude higher up's including ST's and management
-you get paid for travelling ONLY IF the trip is OVER 20 minutes which is ridiculous especially considering gas prices are super high right now!  
-okay benefits
-all other ABA therapists are amazing to work with, very supportive
-You will work stat holidays! I have never worked at an ABA agency where they are open on holidays. This is ridiculous, and they wonder why direct staff are burnt out. Of course only the direct care staff work on holidays, and MANAGEMENT/HIGHER UPS have the day off. 
-no paid sick days or paid vacation but they will allow kids to come to sessions sick and then wonder why staff are always sick LOL

The positions are in a hierarchy and some of the senior therapists were not helpful, judgemental, and unorganized. Lots of driving around if you're a home therapist. Not the environment to grow with the company and have access to higher positions. Comfort is low, with the therapists sitting on children's chairs in therapy rooms,  and now have lower back problems. 

High level of burnout with staff and very high turnover rate.
Lower pay rate and no extra perks.
The job can be stressful and little appreciation for your hard work.
Lack of organization/communication within scheduling. 

This company is not loyal to it's staff. They prioritize profit over anything. No paid sick leave, very inflexible management. Therapist as always burned out. Compensation is low for the amount of work you do. Many therapist with zero experience get mediocre training and get thrown into sessions. Your schedule is always changing. Would not recommend.

Vo workers are very helpful and supportive in every situation but owner doesn't respect anyone. If you go to her with a problem she will look for her own gain first. Act according to their convenience. You are not getting enough respect from owner and feel like you don't even matter in the company. 

Amazing management, very engaging and on top of things. Clients and employees both come first for them.
Communication system is amazing, very transparent. Everyone working towards welding of children. 

Being an instructor therapist is not an easy job, you need so much energy to take care of clients and communicate with parents/STs. But working environment is always warming in momentum, activities are organized regularly, takes off stress from the work itself. 

Momentum has been a fantastic place to learn and grow in the field of ABA. If your looking to grow professionally in a great work environment this is the place to be!
