A typical day at this dental clinic was chaotic and stressful. Overbooked schedules, unrealistic expectations, and constant miscommunication made every shift feel like a battle. The clinic was always short-staffed, which meant I was expected to do the job of multiple people with little to no appreciation.

What I learned was how not to treat employees. The lack of proper training, constant criticism instead of constructive feedback, and unrealistic demands taught me the importance of a supportive work environment—something this place severely lacked.

Management was one of the worst aspects of this job. The dentist was condescending, dismissive of staff concerns, and often belittled employees in front of patients. The office manager played favorites, ignored complaints, and cared more about pushing as many patients through as possible rather than the quality of care or the well-being of the staff.

The workplace culture was toxic. Gossip, favoritism, and a lack of teamwork created a hostile environment. Instead of supporting each other, coworkers were encouraged to throw one another under the bus to avoid being the target of management’s anger.

The hardest part of the job was dealing with constant disrespect. Whether it was being blamed for things beyond my control, working overtime without compensation, or being yelled at in front of patients, every day felt like a mental and emotional drain.

The most enjoyable part of the job was leaving at the end of the shift. The only positive aspect was the patients—I enjoyed helping them and doing my best to make them feel comfortable, despite the terrible environment behind the scenes.

Overall, this clinic was a nightmare to work at. The high turnover rate speaks for itself. If you value your mental health, avoid this place at all costs.


Working at Monarch Dentistry was one of the most challenging professional experiences I’ve had. I was hired as an office administrator but was asked to take on the full responsibilities of an office manager without the title, support, or recognition. The workload was extremely heavy, and there was little to no appreciation for the effort required.
At first, the office had a great team dynamic, but after several key staff members left, the environment changed significantly. Management began hiring individuals who, in my experience, were not adequately prepared for the role, which created additional challenges and stress for the rest of the team.
I often reached out to upper management for support, but my concerns were rarely addressed in a timely or effective way. This left me feeling unsupported and overwhelmed, as I was left to handle problems on my own.
The overall work culture was difficult to navigate. I experienced a lack of respect, accountability, and consistent leadership, which took a toll on my well-being. The stress and pressure of the environment negatively impacted my mental health.
In my opinion, this position may not be suitable for someone looking for a supportive workplace with strong leadership and clear communication. I would encourage anyone considering employment here to carefully evaluate what they need from a work environment before accepting a role.

A typical day at work at Monarch Dentistry is always busy but very rewarding. Every day brings new patients and opportunities to help people feel more confident about their smiles. I get to work alongside a supportive and professional team that truly cares about both patients and each other.
During my time here, I’ve learned so much  from improving my clinical and communication skills to understanding how to create a calm, welcoming environment for patients who may feel nervous. The management team is approachable and always willing to guide or help when needed, which makes a big difference in the workplace atmosphere.
The culture at Monarch Dentistry feels like family everyone helps one another, and there’s always teamwork and laughter throughout the day.

I was hired as a Regional Manager and left within a week due to the complete lack of training and support. From day one, there was no structure or onboarding process in place. I was expected to manage multiple offices without being given any tools, guidance, or even a clear understanding of the company’s expectations.

Management was disorganized and 
unresponsive. It quickly became clear that they were not prepared to support someone in this role.

The culture felt chaotic and unprofessional, and the environment did not promote collaboration or success. The most difficult part was trying to navigate a new position with zero direction. The only positive was meeting a few kind and hardworking staff members who were also clearly frustrated by the lack of structure.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a professional and supportive workplace.

This company is toxic. And it all starts with what they call "head office". Monarch Dentistry is so chaotic and unorganized. You start with this company and take on a roll of being a manager, however, from the start you are taught not to trust your staff, always doubt them, and always be sneaky. Head office, including their HR team do not have your back and our the origin of all the toxicity. Working at office level you get to meet some wonderful people along the way however it is the complete opposite coming from the owner and CEO. No professionalism was ever shown, no personal privacy was ever given, and no suggestions or good work was ever noticed. However, you were definitely told when things were not right. You are easily replaced at this company. You are not in any way shape or form valuable. And gossip is highly recommended and encouraged. 

My experience with Monarch Dentistry was unfortunately not a positive one. The overall environment often felt disorganized, and expectations were unrealistic in terms of timelines and workload. There was a noticeable lack of support, and staff were sometimes blamed or shamed for situations that were out of their control, which made the culture feel quite toxic. The long hours and extended schedules also made it very difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

That said, compensation was slightly above average, and the company did maintain good Health & Safety and IPAC compliance standards. However, those positives weren’t enough to offset the overall experience of poor communication, stress, and lack of leadership support.


Monarch Dentistry and its management in higher-up positions ONLY care about money and money only. They don't care about the staff or patients and their wellbeing. The office manager currently there sees all patients as walking $$ and makes life so difficult for employees. As a former receptionist, I knew my tasks really well but the office manager would still make me feel small and always belittle my opinions and thoughts. NO room for advancement, fair pay, or proper work compensation. Choose a different clinic to work at! 

Monarch Dentistry is a good workplace for dental professionals who want to gain hands-on experience and grow in a fast-paced clinical setting. The office provides opportunities to work with diverse patients and cases, which helps improve clinical and communication skills. Management is approachable, and teamwork is encouraged.

Like any busy dental office, it can get hectic at times, but it helps build efficiency and confidence. Overall, it’s a good environment for someone who’s motivated, adaptable, and wants to learn more about patient care and dental operations.
