I've worked in sales positions in a variety of industries, some good, some bad, and I absolutely love coming to work every day here. The employees, the customers, the product - all great. 

If you are contemplating a career in car sales, this is where you want to be. 

First, every person who is considering a new car is at least going to test drive a honda, and usually it's one of the top 2 choices, so if 100% commission scares you, dont be worried. Second, huge expansion on the dealership, and the inventory is massive. Every trim and colour at your fingertips. And thirdly,  this all breeds a very positive work environment. It's a fun place to work, it's fun to help customers get a new car, and moncton honda has a great team environment.

Yeah, you're gonna work Saturdays (and make good money) because that's a big day for car sales, and that means you might not get 2 days off in a row all the time like a regular 9-5 m-f, but you will enjoy coming on on that saturday, I'll guarantee that.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They do take very good care of their employees. They have a mentality of work hard and play hard. Plus all kinds of bonuses…

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
For someone truly Christian, like me, it’s the lack proper moral values they force you to work with. Who ever said that morality and business can’t co-exist together. Yet this industry, especially since Covid-19, has put all their focuses on the mighty dollar and the human component has gone by the wayside.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mostly pleasant working environment but totally a culture of what’s in it for me…

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Simply get the job done. Not much room for mistakes. They expect you to perform, period.

I have worked at other car dealerships in the area and this is by far the best one. They take great care of their employees and the interviewing process is easy, fun and low-stress. The work environment can get high stress during busy season but you can always rely on your coworkers to lend a hand if needed. Pay is competitive to other dealerships in the area and the benefits are affordable and offer great coverage. Schedule is relatively flexible if you need time off for an appointment or emergency. Overall great place to work would highly recommend!

Do not apply here thinking you are helping the customer in any way. You will not be able to. Unreasonable and unrealistic standards to achieve.  Overwhelming negativity and hostility from "management", who both don't show up regularly. Constant micro-managing from both managers who have control and hostility issues. Neither can look up from their phones long enough to be involved or notice and fix any problems. Too many staff fired  unnecessarily and the rest are looking to leave. This is where dreams go to die- for yourself and your customer.


At Honda I have learned many operations and policies that happen on a daily basis. It gave me much needed experience answering phones and the use of office equipment.

I enjoy the everyday communication with customers and giving good experiences through customer service. The most difficult part of the job would have to be the unhappy customers, but to me is only a new challenge for me to overcome.

The most enjoyable part of my job would be the staff and regular working hours. The job is more enjoyable when everyone is a team player.

Do not base your opinion on working at this place on the  interview. As soon as you arrive on day 1, it’s the complete opposite of what you thought you were walking into. I could feel the tension and ignorance immediately.  Run away.... don’t let the interview and the salary trick you into thinking you are joining a team because it’s every person for themselves. Lots of gossiping and two faced people.

Over my time at Moncton Honda I’ve gained a lot of great experience and skills from my day to day interactions with staff and customers alike. Great work life balance and everyone respects each other. I’d recommend anybody looking to begin a career to consider Moncton Honda!

If you thrive amongst two faced , attention seeking wannabes say no more! Nevermind the actual job position throw that out the window. They rather gossip about you then do their jobs. The older staff picks on the new arrivals. There is very little opportunities to thrive as a hard worker. 


Treat your poorly
They give only a couple of salesman that they like leads. They will do everything they can to make you suffer.  Pay is good but again management is toxic. Salesman are very kind and professional. Shop is on top of this just the management is a failure 

Charming first impressions.  Great interview experience.  However, what was offered in terms of job description and wage was not at all what was actually experienced.  Very little training offered.  Very high stress environment.  Did not experience honesty here.  Run, run, run!
