Tools/Equipment - If you enjoy sharing basic tools, that are also run into the ground this is the place for you. Getting tape & box cutters was a chore. Equipment also never gets repaired, run it until it breaks then they blame you for it.

Shop - The shop is the most unorganized one i have ever seen, garbage everywhere & trying to find the tools to get things done never happens. Waste an hour every morning to get organized.

Late Pay/ Reduced hours - Pay is never on time & when you finally get paid, you find out that all your 'extra' work was for free.

Management - This has to be the worst part about this place, the two people in charge don't care about employees safety or well being, you are seen as a body that's it plain & simple. The lady who thinks she runs the show doesn't know anything other than what the computer tells her, someone who calls the shots without ever being on site, 24/7 passive aggressive comments, never pleased & never takes blame but decides to pass it on. Somehow you are expected to bust out all this work when you are fighting with broken down equipment, tools that are none existent & this lady breathing down your neck 24/7 making the work environment extremely toxic.   

Definitely a shady place to work, safety is not a concern at all here nor is the proper training. They do not offer benefits at all and will attempt to do what they can to justify you essentially working for free. They do skim hours off and don't ever expect to be paid on-time. An entire 7 months of employment they only managed to hit 3 direct deposits on time. Lack of equipment, lack of construction experience from management side in Red Deer. ALWAYS GET STUFF IN WRITING and I mean always! From Labourer to Locator, I suggest you stay clear and go work for a better company that won't steal from you.

This is the best place I've worked in years! They have had some bad eggs, and bad luck with employees guys that had no pride in their work, but pound for pound this is a great place to work, management has had a lot on their plate and is handleding it great and professionally. Equipment is first class like all equipment its only as good as its operators, kudos Mongoose keep up the good work, push to bottom burp the pump!

I advise anyone to avoid this place if youre looking for a steady peaceful job. management is the worse ive ever experienced and ive never worked at a place where pay cheques were always late and still did paper cheques and never gave you time to deposit them on Friday. hours were also shorted almost every cheque. the equipment is run into the ground as there was no time given to repair anything and just expected to keep running equipment.

Keep track of your hours very close working for this company. Saving money at mongoose even means stealing hours from employees if your the bosses/owner wife who does the payroll. any decent worker has vanished due to the bosses/owner crazy wife ripping people off hours. If you like working for next to nothing then you will be a good fit with this company.

some managers were okay some were great. which makes the day edgy cause you never knew good moods from bad. they took away commission which was what our jobs were based on when I was hired. for the advancement and also security was minimal chances for growth and also minimal amounts of security always so snoopy.

Good people to work with and a pleasant working environment. They pay a fair wage and the working hours are reasonable. I left the company due to a family situation. My ex colleagues, and the job, is sorely missed. A great company to have worked for.

New management in the company ran the company down. Went from having lots of jobs to NO jobs. Pretty sad when 6-8 staff gave their notices and left the company which most were there for 5 or more years.

Do not work here they r no good equipment is no good manager never pay on time ..equipment is never serviced and broke down sitting in a dirty shop.  They have no employees cause they do not no how to do the job right.  They pay like therefore they get people that dont no how to do the job

Tools were unsafe to use . 
Kept saying all the good tools were in red deer and will be at new location in a few days . Weeks went by no tools . Rodders weren’t long enough . Hydro vac was broken every second day . Under payed , late payments
