I started with this company early last year, and initially, I thought I had found a great opportunity. However, my experience quickly proved otherwise. While the company portrays itself as caring about its employees, I found that this was far from the truth.

From the start, there was an expectation to take on increasing responsibilities without any corresponding pay increases or acknowledgment. The company pushes employees to take on more and more, but there is little to no recognition for the additional effort. It felt as though they were constantly testing how much they could push before you burned out.

One of the most disheartening parts of my experience was being let go after 10 months, despite my dedication and going above and beyond in my role, being told I would succeed in an operations position. I was blindsided by this decision, especially after giving so much of my time and effort to the company and working as hard as I could. CST in particular gets a lot of grief. 

Management’s approach to employee well-being is also concerning. Personal issues were rarely acknowledged, and if you needed time off for personal matters, you were met with resistance. Calling in sick or taking necessary time to deal with life circumstances resulted in scolding or judgment. This environment felt toxic, and I often felt like I was being treated like just another number which in reality, we all are and that's all anyone ever will be. Everyone is replaceable even if they make it out to seem like you are super great. Management is incredibly fake and two-faced. You tell them you’re struggling, and then the next week you’re fired.

Overall, I cannot recommend working here. The management culture is harsh, and the company’s treatment of employees is poor. If you value your well-being and want a job where your contributions are truly recognized, I suggest looking elsewhere. 

A typical day involves assisting clients with their daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and medication reminders. I also help with household tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Each day varies depending on the client’s needs. I have learned the importance of empathy, patience, and active listening. I have also developed strong skills in providing personalized care, understanding individual client needs, and maintaining their comfort and dignity. he management at Mosaic Ltd is supportive and approachable. They provide clear instructions, guidance, and feedback, which helps me perform my duties confidently and efficiently. The workplace culture is professional, respectful, and team-oriented. Collaboration is encouraged, and everyone works together to provide the best care for clients. The hardest part is handling clients with complex care needs or sudden changes in their health. It requires patience, quick thinking, and adaptability. The most enjoyable part is making a positive difference in clients’ lives, seeing them happy and comfortable, and knowing that my support helps them maintain independence and dignity. 

I was with Mosaic for a while, and honestly, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. They make a lot of empty promises to the staff, claiming to support us, but when it comes down to it, there’s nothing substantial to back it up. There’s constant pressure to hit goals, but with absolutely no additional resources or support to make them achievable.

The management is quick to blame employees for any issues, without ever considering that they are part of the problem. If you need to take time off or even miss a day, they’ll scold you for it. Even worse, they keep piling on more and more tasks without offering any wage increases to go along with the added workload.

There’s no human resources department to help address concerns or provide guidance, and forget about any written policies or procedures — they don’t exist. The management and owners don’t seem to communicate with each other either, leading to contradictions and confusion on a daily basis. Additionally your position with the company would constantly be put on the line, there is no job security for anyone. I would not recommend working here to anyone.

Mosaic Home Services has been such a fantastic place to work. It's not just about getting the job done here; the leadership genuinely cares about us as individuals and is always encouraging us to grow and take on new challenges. There’s a big focus on collaboration, and everyone’s voice really does matter.

One of the things I appreciate most is how supportive and approachable management is—they’re open to feedback and encourage new ideas, which is refreshing. There’s also a big focus on helping each of us succeed, with plenty of opportunities for learning and development.

 Assist clients with personal care. Assist with mobility, helping clients get out of bed. Assist with toileting and continence care. Help with meals and hydration. Do light housekeeping. 
Provide companionship. Report any concerns or changes in condition to nurses. 

PSW teaches me how to care for people professionally while treating them with dignity and respect.

The hardest part of the job is the physical and emotional demands, especially when supporting clients with complex needs while staying patience  and compassionate.

The most enjoyable part of the job is building meaningful relationships with clients and knowing you are making a positive difference in their daily lives.

I have been working at this location for a little bit and after spending years in the customer service industry, I can confidently say this is a whole new beast. But in a good way! There is always something to do in CST so it can really make a 8 hour day feel like 2 hours which I love.  I also have years of software and computer experience but being able to adapt to these systems felt like my brain was rebooting. Becoming a sponge, absorbing as much knowledge, taking notes and, asking as many questions as you can during training is essential. You gain a whole new appreciation for your trainer by watching them fire off on all cylinders to keep up with their clients while also balancing training at the same time. These folks are busy non stop, so being teachable is essential. But even though theyre busy, the culture here is amazing. They feed off eachothers energy and seem like one big happy family.

A typical day at work involves assisting with daily tasks, supporting clients, and completing required documentation. I learned how to communicate professionally, manage responsibilities, and apply practical skills in a real workplace. Management was supportive and provided guidance when needed, while the workplace culture encouraged teamwork and respect. The hardest part of the job was handling emotionally challenging situations, but the most enjoyable part was helping others and knowing my work made a positive impact.

I was having support on the first 2 days being told it will take time to master everything and I was doing my best learning at work and coming back home learning more about the product knowledge 3 days day and night trying to grasp everything and on the 4th day I was told that I take more time than I should and this is a very quick pace environment while I was focusing on the quality of learning as speed comes with more experience and before I even knew it I was fired… my email was deactivated by 4:30 while I was still working till 5:00 without even having my short breaks and after 5:00 I was notified with my termination. Don’t work for a place that believes in couple of days you will master everything .. work for a place that believes in your capabilities ..
