Nepotism Labs is a great place to work if you are management's favorites. There is literally a camera at every corner and 'big brother is always watching you'. The only good part of a typical work day is the team, your average joes that you interact with on a daily basis. They recently started paying hourly replacing salary based wage, which made things worse for everyone. 

HR team is horrible offering zero support, and lie to and ignore you without any remorse. 12.5 hr shifts are a nightmare, with zero sense of time in winters especially, and you'd feel like a robot after a while burnt out. Supervisors are the worst, always needing big numbers with no support or appreciation for employees and have a bullying attitude. Health and safety risks everywhere, absolutely confused automobile sector big wigs steering the company to a downward spiral. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Best job I’ve ever worked. Hours are great as a parent and unlimited overtime available/optional. Staff was a great team and management was approachable and fair. I would work there again anytime. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It is precise work including measurements, weight and health Canada standards which must be followed. But training is thorough.

Teamwork. Supportive, fun, rewarding

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
12 hour shifts three or four days per week. Filling required orders while maintaining a clean and safe environment according to health Canada. Regular inspections from qa department. Collaborate with other departments

A typical day is being stressed out. Not enough help, other then temp workers who have a language barrier. They don't like hiring full time people anymore, just rotating temps. There is next to no communication from any management. It's a mess. The best part of the job is the amazing coworkers you get to meet and work with.  Worst part is management pulling nonsense on workers. They fire alot of people who have been there for years without cause and take any perks that we had in the beginning away. They truly do not value their workers.

Work culture is so stressful, working longer 12.5 hours a day makes tired physically and mentally. Especially twice in a month working straight fri, sat and sun.

They don’t provide good chairs to sit while working 12.5 hours a day

Nothing they use people.

Chaotic with no support from peers.

Most horrible company ever worked for. Fire employees on 3 month mark to avoid paying benefits and without apparent reasons. . No decency to do it in person - 1 minute phone call night before morning shift is their style of letting employees go. Poor management and lazy lead hands. Underpaid for job expectations. ,$19 / hr is barely above minimum wage.

Working at Motif Labs has been a great experience. The staff are kind, friendly, communicative and all-around some of the best, most experienced and knowledgeable people that I have worked with in the Cannabis Industry. The culture is excellent. Motif has a dedicated team who is passionate about what they do and who maintain an extreme focus on consistent quality.

Nice mix of various runs to produce from day to day.
Production management watches cameras daily hourly minute by minute. Not sure what they are looking for. 
Workplace culture attempts to be good but is not.
Hardest part feeling like you failed daily.

A growing company with lots of opportunities to get to  know the cannabis industry. It's exciting to be part of a company that's setting the stage for a completely new industry.  So far, the people are genuinely nice and my co-workers take pride in their work.  Having employer match GRSP is great - not something you see in manufacturing environment commonly.
