A typical day at work would be very busy but enjoyable at the same time as i am very passionate about what i do. Working in the Psychiatry Department I learned a lot more about mental health and the services provided.

There were four Secretaries in the office I worked in all working for different consultant's within the department. My colleagues and I worked great as a team, helping each other out with extra work flow within the office.

The hardest part of the job was sometimes dealing with very angry aggressive patients. These situations was something I could handle as the training provided gave me all the information and techniques I needed to know.

I gained a lot of experience in this job role. The most enjoyable part of the job was going to the gym on my lunch break which was in the Hospital itself.

For the time I've been here, it's early morning start times, no raises since day one, always short staffed, and no intention of hiring more hands.   Mostly young staff, and if your older, you'll find you won't make friends here.
People who once use too casually talk too me, no longer speak with me, which makes me believe there must be “Gossip Culture” going on, people talking 💩behind your back (feels like I'm in high school)  and co-workers are ok, but there's hate between the departments, they like too mess with each other to make the day harder.
Management doesn't really do much, as situation there remains bad.  Over worked, under paid.  No friends culture unless your young, then you might find one(if your female that is, then you can join the rest of them in their “Rumor Meetings” good luck in this place!

Always short staffed, before covid, during covid, and still would be after. For the amount of work and covering other modalities, is not worth the rate they start you with. Very high absenteeism of staff.  However, since you are thrown in to learn different modalities, the more you learn.  And the more you learn, you will be covering anytime someone is away, which is often.  There is of course, always office politics.  Although, some people are great.

There is lots of opportunity and learning process is really helping us to grow to learn different aspect in processing medical devices.

To finish all the trays to build up during our shifts

The environment in this company is good and well motivated.

I make sure I go to work early and focus what I’m going to do on my shift.

Mount Sinai Care about their employee, positive working environment, place to grow more.

If you know your work and how to handle it, nothing is stressful.

Amazing work environment. You can see people with different culture also respected all over here.

Wonderful experience, everyday you will learn more.

Manager is very professional, but the team is very unprofessional

Teams attitude is very bad. Unprofessional environment

More paper work. Old system type

Stressed , frustrated , no proper communication with me

None it is terribly disorganized

Lack of organization and long term planning and the autocratic style of management

an overall  attitude of do it or else

keep your head down and do your work

Dealing with patients,  showing empathy, working with good, co-worker. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making sure I do my job, in timely manner. There is lots to do .

I love working in hospital, trying to clean, make sure patients, are happy, make me happy.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work 8 hours, cleaning discharges

Very unpleasant experience working to this corrupt organization.  The management is terrible.  All decisions made by authorities of hospital are not for improvement of patient's care, but only for their profit.
