What is the best part of working at the company?
I really enjoyed the workplace environment and all of the people who I worked with everybody was friendly and easy to get along with. From a management side of things, there’s often a lot of pushing for working to be done with a lack of consideration for employees, some shifts in the winter and during peak busy season stretching up to 14 hours was pretty unreasonable especially consecutive days in a row with sometimes not even a full 48+ hours in between. The pay range to start is definitely low for the expectation of work especially in the winter months. Especially with no overtime compensation 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Long shifts, no predictability in scheduling

Positive, friendly and supportive 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meet at yard and then drive to job site, completing maintenance tasks in all conditions

I started with Mountview 6 years ago.  Over this time there have been many positive changes.  Like any growing business sometimes things work well and somethings things don't work well.  There is always an opportunity to share your thoughts on improvement, which I really appreciate having my thoughts and opinions heard.  I see lots of feedback turn into positive changes.  The company is always looking for ways to improve the employee experience - they have implemented many extra incentives along with a competitive wage.   I have really enjoyed working with all levels of employees to listen and learn from everyone at Mountview.  I'm  always looking forward to the next conversation and opportunity to make positive improvements!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The work itself, taking pride in your work. Lots of opportunity to personally excel.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The higher ups are very critical about your numbers, meaning the time it takes to get the job done. Management has told me to my face that I'm just a placeholder, very replaceable. They have high expectations while they sit at their desks all day.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Your fellow coworkers who are working alongside you are very upbeat and motivating. They keep a good pace and they are nothing but encouraging. Management is very intimidating, numbers based, critical, and judgmental. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sunshine, a nice tan, enjoying your coworkers company.

I have worked here for a year and I love it!
 The company took a chance on me and have invested in me. They provide opportunities to get more involved and help you to succeed. 
 I have seen first hand how hard management works to improve communication, company atmosphere and job satisfaction.

I have been working with mountview for 3 months and so far it has been fantastic! Everyone from the president to front line staff are all super helpful and approachable people who take time out of their day to make sure that you feel welcomed and valued. They offer competitive compensation and benefits! 

Moderate to quick pace work environment. They're always trying to improve there business though replacing aging equipment, engaging staff for new ideas or systems to furthere the workspace and helpful employee packages and benefits. There is a friendly atmosphere with a variety of different skillsets to learn and improve on with the staff and management to help along the way. 

Employees are very much immature in the sense of being more concerned with popularity than actually working. HR department pick favourites and will unjustly punish those who speak out against said favourites. The owners are very aggressive towards employees and are very unfair. The pay was not worth the work and the drama included in the company

Great place to work.  Family oriented, fair wages, room for advancement and lots of incentives for employees.  Management is very friendly, supportive and approachable.  They're willing to jump in & get their hands dirty.

I truly enjoyed working for this company. The top level management personnel was supportive and provided new challenges to tackle regularly. The field personnel was friendly and knowledgeable and had good humour. Good benefits and competitive pay rates. Respect and open communication was encouraged and everyone was given opportunities to voice any concerns.

This company has no communication at all. Management very immature and don’t like new people. Never met owner. HR does not do their job. Guaranteed hours only applies to those who know the schedule and that is not common information
